Leaving us next is the lead single from Brit's 7th studio album 'Femme Fatale'. 'Hold It Against Me' went on to be a huge hit for her in the US as it reached number 1, climbing from #96 I believe. It's UK success was hindered by it's release strategy. It was released mid-week a few weeks later than everywhere else (the UK were new to the whole On Air, On Sale situation and were still unsure how to fully adapt to it). As for the song it's a banger and one of Brit's most underrated singles, imo. Also, we stan a legend for inventing the genre... dub-step *.*

How is Work Bitch still here. It’s awful! Genuinely one of the worst ever singles released by a major pop star.

 

I’ve never once got its appeal a monotonous mess! (Tbh I think the fact that a large part of the song is spoken kinda makes me dislike it as I’m not too keen on that in songs to start with but can handle it in small doses (like the “rain. on. me.) for instance but when it’s practically the entire song no!
