Not my favourite on the album. I think it'll take a while before Plastic Doll and 1000 Doves grows on me.

I think 1000 Doves might be one of the most underrated in terms of what I've seen, such gorgeous lyrics and so uplifting! That final chorus is so special.

1000 Doves is definitely one of my highlights (what's not a highlight though lmao?), especially placed immediately after Sine From Above too. :wub:

Babylon isn't LOVE for me like many others on here (many ranking it as the best on the album) but it's incredible and such a brilliant album closer. I can't wait to hear the other versions being penned too potentially :o

Babylon is a surprisingly good album closer! Stands out from the rest in it's sounds and it's quite triumphant with the gospel choir and saxes.

 

Also love the little bird whistle that pops in and out.

It has such a proper old Gaga feel to it which few songs were missing. Everything about this song is great for me
