Now this is a shocking result! After polling the least votes to eliminate in each of the previous 3 rounds, the semi-final saw 'Dilemma' lead the way with 4 votes ahead of its nearest competitor! I was honestly expecting it to win prior to this round. :o Nelly and Kelly's 2002 hook-up topped the UK chart for a fortnight back in October/November of that year. It sold a whopping 200,000 copies to enter at #1 and ended the year with platinum status. The song's success made Kelly the first member of Destiny's Child to get her name credited on a number one single! In the US, 'Dilemma' also topped the main chart and stayed at the summit for 10 weeks! While 'Dilemma' was the second of 4 US #1's for Nelly, it remains to date Kelly's only US chart topper away from Destiny's Child.

For me this song is pure nostalgia and the video is one of the most memorable from the early 2000s. If I think of Kisstory, this is the first song that comes to mind. It also represents a short time when Kelly's star was not in the shadow of Beyonce's.

*ADVERT* Remember to vote in the heats of Buzzjack's Favourite Noughties Single! The 2000-2002 heats are now closed but you can still vote in the 2003-2007 ones! Links in my signature. :kink:

Now... one of the biggest-selling girl group singles of the decade vs one of the biggest solo singles from an ex girl group member. B-)

Great choices for the final two this time, Whole Again to win!

Just when I thought we'd finally be on to a great winner  I remember that song being SPAMMED to death so much on the music video channels back at the time, yet it never ever got old for me!

Atomic Kitten easily from the final 2.

It’s just not right that Dilemma hasn’t won this. I’ve voted Whole Again because I don’t really care which of these win now.

I think this is a very weak final 2 tbh. :( I have always found Whole Again boring and lifeless and although I do like FFTL, I don't think it should have outlasted IDFLD, IKAG or Dilemma lol.

Voting FFTL to win by default.

This was obviously the best selection of songs in these survivors yet and we pick....Atomic Kitten and Cheryl as our final 2? :''''') I mean I like both songs, but out of this selection, this is very disappointing. They've certainly not stood the test of time as well as many others previously here.

Anyway, Whole Again to win I guess, been voting Cheryl for a few rounds now.

'Dilemma' should've won :(

'Whole Again' is pretty bland so I'm rooting for 'Fight For This Love' to win now!

I blame these clones tbh:

Dilemma.

Dilemma.
Correct top 2 for me but Cheryl to win for sure
What's up with all the Whole Again hate in the comments? Easily one of the best pop songs of the last 20 years for me, never gets old, and will certainly get my vote this round. Fight For This Love is obviously a banger as well, so most definitely the most deserved top 2 for me.
Love both songs but Whole Again has to have it!

justice for Nelly and Kelly!!

voted Cheryl but don’t really care for either of the two we have left.
