Both of these singles directly preceded the releases of the albums they're from - Say You'll Be There was released on 14th October 1996, with Spice following on 4th November 1996, while Spice Up Your Life came out on 13th October 1997, in advance of Spiceworld on 3rd November 1997.

Say You'll Be There.

 

It's cool, it's classy and classic Spice. It's an incredibly good song, well produced, sang and cleverly written. And it helped cement them as a group to look to!

My personal favourite is Spice up your life it's such a vibrant fabulous song which takes me straight back to Spice mania... but I do think Say you'll be there is the stronger song tbh.

I went 'Say You'll Be There'! it's an an actual pop masterclass for any producer, so hooky and catchy :wub: I like 'Spice...' too but it's not one of their best singles for me

Easily Say You'll Be There.

But Spice Up Your Life has grown a lot on me since its instrumental leaked, it's really good.

I voted Spice Up Your Life, as that was always my favourite song while growing up and has just so many memories. Technically speaking, however, I would say Say You'll Be There is the better song.
