I didn't fully grasp how old Adore You was until I realised that it first went Top 10 after the Christmas lull and now it's June :drama: This year has gone so quickly!

Time flies when you're having fun with Corona. :sarah:

why they skip so many good songs and then play this  we lost

Yep, Roses and Break Up Song are much better than this!

Julia Michaels has so many great songs & features... yet none of them have gone Top 75 or even charted in the UK :nocheer:
That's still held by Portugal The Man - Feel It Still

I thought that song debuted pre-ACR but apparently not checking the FAQ thread!

'Wildfire' immediately springs to mind.

Biography

19-year-old StaySolidRocky has made one of 2020’s breakthrough hits with “Party Girl.” Soaring past 10 million combined streams and debuting in the Billboard Top 100 (#84), the self-funded video single is the result of the Richmond, Virginia-based rapper putting it all on the line for his dream. Newly signed to Columbia Records, Rocky blends emotion and melody with skillful rapping. Evidenced in six-figure-streaming singles “Toxic” and “Soft Aggression,” his style is dynamic and unpredictable. “I don’t use a standard flow or try to recreate whatever I did on my last song,” he notes. “I make things that will sound good to the ear, and I always take pride in my lyrics.” Having used a combination of talent, social media, and the belief in himself, StaySolidRocky already sees the outcome of his art—and the party has just begun. - Spotify

The weekly mute time now. <_<
Looks like Don’t Rush could re-peak next week following the release of the remix and this sounds shit
Let this song be an inspiration to us all that any of us could get a hit single regardless of musical ability.

Biography

Australian singer/songwriter Sam Fischer writes honest, thought-provoking lyrics that are easy to relate to, with the intention of providing comfort to the listener. The Los Angeles resident has written songs for Ciara, Clean Bandit, and Jennifer Hudson, and has been releasing solo material since 2016. After being featured on Black Saint's 2019 hit "Everybody Wants You," his earlier solo tune "This City" took off later in the year.

Fischer was born outside of Sydney, Australia and was writing songs by age 12. He grew up training classically on saxophone and violin and eventually ended up studying at the Berklee College of Music in the early 2010s. After graduating, he moved to Los Angeles and began working in earnest on a solo music career while also taking part in L.A.'s a cappella scene and performing as a backup vocalist with the band HOLYCHILD. While working as much as possible in the music industry, Fischer readied his own songs and by 2016 had released his first single, the romantic, R&B-informed "Lean." He followed the next year with singles "Same Friends" and "Getting Older," as well as being featured on Opia's swaying single "Secrets." His debut EP, Not a Hobby, was first released in January of 2018. Fischer co-wrote Ciara's song "Dose" and was featured on tracks by Pat Lok and Nighttime Crowd, but "Everybody Wants You," his 2019 collaboration with London's Black Saint, became a dance hit during the summer. Sony then signed Fischer and re-released Not a Hobby, as the EP's track "This City" started to gain momentum online. - iTunes

First sign of getting old :D

That's still held by Portugal The Man - Feel It Still

Whilst this is true, Adore You has spent a lot more weeks in the Top 40 than Feel It Still did so could be seen as a better achievement (although Adore You has a lower peak, so it depends on how you look at it)

I actually really dig the lyrics to This City. I just wish someone else sang it. :kink:
