Walcott equalizes for Everton with 3 minutes left against Aston Villa. haha.

Surely now if there is a winner in the Watford vs West Ham game they stay up?

For what it's worth I think if Watford lose that game they will go down. I think Bournemouth will win one of their remaining games, which leaves things finely poised. A little like the race for Top 4.. it really does look like the winner of the Leicester vs Manchester United game takes all.

After today's results it's near certain now that Aston Villa will get relegated. At least one out of Watford or West Ham will have 35 points or more by this time tomorrow and Aston Villa have to play Arsenal and West Ham so they would have to win both of those games realistically to have any chance because of their goal difference and even then they would still need to depend on other results.

The battle between Leicester and Man United on the last day is guaranteed to decide a Champions League place as the gap between both sides can't be more than 3 points before the final fixture now. I was hoping Sheffield United would have done us a favour today but it's good that we won against Crystal Palace even though we didn't play well in the first half. Antony Martial continuing to score well executed goals and Marcus Rashford getting on the score sheet was good to see.

The Rashford goal was quality. I did think you squeaky bumed it today, Palace were really unlucky to not get a goal and I really don't think the Premier League are using the VAR technology correctly. Probably suits you if West Ham get 3 points tomorrow night otherwise I'd fancy them to get something out of the game, especially with the added rest time.
Would be nice to see Leicester get in the top 4 ahead one of the elite clubs.

Yeh two big decisions seemed to go against Palace there

I agree. Could do without Chelsea being in the Champions League next season, they could try to regain the Europa League trophy instead (after we win it this season hopefully).

Chelsea or united I don't mind, ideally it would have been Wolves and Sheff United but not to be!

VAR was used perfectly correctly in both decisions. Lindelof got the ball, clear as day was a good defensive tackle. And offside is offside. It’s not as if his nose hair was offside, it was tight but still clearly offside.

We wanna talk VAR f*** ups shall we talk about Soton not getting a red card for stamping on Greenwood’s Ankle. Disgrace of a decision that.

Oh come on Silas, to say the Lindelof challenge was good is ridiculous! Zaha was looking for the contact, but Lindelof completely fudged up. The same VAR that won't give a penalty for that decision yet it will when Fernandes falls over himself in the box.

It's a clear use of the technology being used to decipher marginal offsides, but then when there is a contentious decision referees aren't encouraged to re-review the decision. The technology is no good if it is not applied consistently.

Exactly to use the phrase 'var was used perfectly correctly in both decisions' is just disingenuous and saying it because it suits you. It was a clear penalty end of and the Fernandez example is perfect to highlight that.

Clearly the premier league want united in the top 4!

The penalty seemed to me to fall into the category of "not a clear and obvious error". In other words, if the referee had given it, VAR would not have overturned the decision.

The offside was obviously yet another example of a decision that was technically correct but stupid.

Which highlights how var isn't used correctly. If it's a penalty it should be highlighted as such even if the ref has t seen it correctly.

When was the last time a team had two players sent off in the first half in a Premier League match?
