This is incredibly heartbreaking to see and read, but we have all seen it happening and bought into it in 2011. Misha was clearly the biggest star of the season (as much as I love Little Mix, but Misha really had the whole package as soon as she started) and the way the tried to portray her as the 'difficult' one and being a bully was always bull. Back in 2011 I would have never realised it was a race issue as well, but with the current knowledge it IS so easy to see. Make her seem like the 'angry black woman'.

It is a shame the British public bought into that so much, so she never had a chance to win or have a good career afterwards. Home Run is easily one o the best X Factor alumni debut singles and would have been HUGE otherwise.

Especially watching the clip back of seeing Louis and Tulisa teaming up against her is painful, I am glad Gary took her side, but it's pure evil. Tulisa should be so ashamed of herself! And don't even get me started on Louis. Ironic how he would call someone else a bully, when he has always been a bully. We all remember how Girls Aloud fired him, don't why.

I hope speaking like this helped Misha a bit. Nothing but love for her.

I will admit, I believed the bully claims at the time. Misha wasn’t my favourite in the finals and bully was a bit of a trigger for me at the time as I was still getting over some horrendous bullying I suffered a few years earlier so once it was out there, it was hard for me to see Misha in any other way. I seem to recall her admitting that she’d been a bully in school which also influenced my view. I’m really sorry now that I was so taken in and in hindsight it’s really easy to see the set up (I know loud saw it at the time, but I didn’t.) Louis Walsh did always make those kinds of comparisons but I actually dare say the worst one he ever made was Paije the year before who he called ‘ a little Lenny Henry’ despite them having nothing I common apart from being black males.

I never bought into this at the time. I remember being so angry at them for trying to tear her down like that and Louis and Tulisa knew exactly how those words stick. They knew they had succeeded in their aim when the vote for her fell through and she ended up being in the sing off the following week.

I’m so glad she’s doing better now and I’m so glad she’s felt able to speak about it after so long, as the angry black girl narrative that was pushed was so obvious.

I remember this incident so vividly. I'll hold my hands up and say I believed the allegations at the time (no smoke without fire etc) but also believing there's a time and a place to discuss potentially career-destroying claims and that place is off camera! It goes beyond the definition of unprofessional - it was callous and manipulative. 2011 was the year I really woke up to the manipulation and lack of ethics surrounding X Factor (thanks to Sofabet) and this was by far the worst example. I wonder if Tulisa is going to speak out in response to this because she 100% should (I don't expect Louis to FWIW). To think Tulisa went through a career-damaging time herself with the drugs ordeal - perhaps that was karma. -_- I'm glad she has come out the other side and is at a place of strength to be able to tell her story but I can't help but feel she was completely robbed of a career. Landing in the bottom 2 every other week from the allegations to the semi final really damaged her as a prospect for becoming a commercially viable artist. Without the allegations I think she would have had more opportunities presented to her and may have made a bigger impact post-show. The biggest issue though is how prejudice and a bunch of lies has caused an aspiring teenager to resort to years of therapy in order to deal with the character assassination she received. The silence and complicity from all those aware of the situation is both shameful and saddening. Unfortunately there are going to be far more cases similar to this.

The X-Factor has always been problematic — wouldn't surprise me if more came out from other contestants. They tore that poor girl down.

Also, Kelly Rowland of Destiny's Child really shared a panel with Tulisa — someone find me a black judge with the same 'success' and talent as Tulisa when she was chosen.

It wouldn't even have mattered if this was true. Why TF are the judges calling her out on that after her performance on stage? That has nothing to do with her performance and is just hearsay. If there was a problem backstage the only appropriate thing to do would have been to have a meeting with Misha and Kitty behind the scenes.

That being said I obviously do believe Misha and I think this just confirms why I fell out of love with the X Factor. The ratings, shock value and drama always mattered more than the contestants and that's what ultimately doomed the show because it was never really about the singers.

I really want to see how/if Tulisa, Louis and especially Little Mix respond to this (although tbf LM were all, what, sixteen or so at the time?) but I'm glad to see that Kelly and Gary didn't eat into this manufactured BS drama.

Here's a little clip of it on twitter it's quite clear to me from even this small clip she's lying imo

@1272323958176710665

I watched a bit of her live and to me she came across as someone that was guilty and was trying to deflect from what she had done and was even trying to put the blame on to others (Little Mix and the producers) . I’ve also just had a browse on her instagram and she’s turned off the comments on her two latests posts (Someone that’s not guilty wouldn’t do that a least not straight away imo)

It will be very interesting to see if or how Tulisa/Louis or even Little Mix respond to this although I don’t personally blame Little Mix in this situation.

Louis has always been a complete producer stooge - incredibly arrogant, yet hopeless. The ‘little Lenry Henry’ comment shows the extent of his capablities

He literally only ever had like 5 things to say. If you were a young male he'd call you a cheeky chappy, a black woman you'd be a young Aretha Franklin or Chaka Khan or whoever. I don't know what the producers were even thinking dragging his bloated corpse through however many seasons he was on (all but two IIRC?) seeing as he hadn't really managed anyone all that relevant since the mid 2000s.

Misha spoke herself at one point during the show saying she was once a bully though didn’t she and then there was that supposed story of an incident with her and Jesy from LM. I think she admitted to being a bully during her school years or something like before she was a contestant.

Kitty and Mishas feud stemmed from Misha getting to sing Gagas Born This Way during one of the live shows when Kitty wanted that song. I’ll give this a watch though. I don’t for one minute think Tulisa is a racist though and I think that comment she made to Misha whilst was wrong to do it on air kinda felt a bit true to me at least.

It’s a shame it went that way as Misha had the talent but when the voting stars were revealed at the end of that series it kinda showed Misha was never really a front runner anyway.

I need to watch this video again though. I feel like there’s elements of truth in both what Kitty said and what Misha said. During the time the series aired though I wasn’t a fan of Misha at all but that was more the style of music she sung wasn’t what I’d choose to listen too. I did feel she’d have had more success on a mainstream level afterwards though.

Sofabet is such a captivating read on how reality TV is manipulated, even if you've never watched a second of X Factor I'd recommend it. Geninely fascinating. RIP Daniel Gould <3

Please actually watch THE WHOLE of Misha’s live before you come in here with all of these conspiracy theories as a lot of what your saying here is just a load of rubbish !

Don’t worry I’m in the middle of this now! I mentioned the Born This Way song saga as it was briefly featured on the show itself during a VT of either Misha or Kitty.

The judges actually kept Misha In the show several times though when if it had been taken to deadlock she’d have been eliminated three times when she was in the sing off. So as much as there was character assassination when they had the chance to send her home they didn’t do that and she got as high as fourth! However you could also argue they kept her in so they didn’t look a certain kind of way...

I think the word "talent" has to be put in quotes when we're talking about Tulisa honestly.

That's exactly it though: she was kept in precisely because they wanted this bully narrative to dominate the headlines and create a buzz for the show.

Also I wouldn't really quote anything said on the show or from a VT as fact because the whole point of this saga is that the show is manipulated so prerecorded sections on it are hardly the most reliable of sources.

Whenever I watch any interviews or segments on the show from Misha, she was exceptionally graceful and calm and serene. It was a complete character assassination orchestrated by the show, with the most malleable judges (Tulisa and Louis) the ones made to carry out the assassination.

I decided to re-watch some of her X Factor performances today and this one really stood out for me, what a voice!! I don't even like this song that much anymore, but her version is lush. I immediately know again why she was always my favourite.

But just look how sad she looks when getting the judges comments, my heart breaks, especially with the information we know today.

I also saw it attracted some press, but look at this, ofcourse

Radio 1 Newsbeat has contacted ITV and producers for comment on her claims, but they are yet to respond.
Okay, I have turned into a full investigation now, BUT, I just realised that the liveshow where Kelly was 'ill' and no one really believed was the week right after the one where Tulisa and Louis attacked Misha. Surely that can't be a coincidence?
Gary Barlow conformed in his book last year that producers pushed the bullying narrative by and asking them the judges to mention it on air. Gary hired his own producer who warned him not to say that . Tulips and Louis however did mention it .
