June 19, 20206 yr No way - he was 13 in Wednesdays mids I think! I don't look at the Wednesdays mids on the website.
June 19, 20206 yr I quite like this KSI track! Although it is a rather odd choice of song to play. I suppose it hasn't been played in a while! Fairly sure it's only had 2 or 3 previous chart plays before now. Houdini's a tune, definitely the best I've heard from KSI!
June 19, 20206 yr Omg why is perfect re-entering the chart Great to see Be Kind grabbing another week Top 40 though
June 19, 20206 yr 33 | 40 | 6th week Chris Brown and Young Thug Go Crazy 1st single from Slime & B Released: 5th May 2020 Label: Chris Brown Entertainment Chart Statistics NE (21/05/2020) | 72-76-44-44-40-33 Sales: 40k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio 51 Sales 75 Audio Streaming 56 Video Streaming Video RhFR23coKCY Biography Chris Brown Greeted with comparisons to young Michael Jackson and Usher, Chris Brown arrived in 2005 as a squeaky-clean pop-R&B artist with "Run It!," the first debut single by a male artist to top the Billboard Hot 100 in over a decade. While there was nowhere to go but down, at least in terms of chart positions, the singer, dancer, and occasional rapper was only getting started. Within a few years, Brown became one of the biggest active pop stars with Chris Brown (2005) and Exclusive (2007), multi-platinum albums that produced five more Top Ten singles, including "Kiss Kiss" and "Forever." As a featured artist or duettist, he added to the count with hits such as "No Air," a ballad with Jordin Sparks. By the end of the decade, Brown underwent a stylistic makeover during which his forebears shifted to the likes of Jodeci, R. Kelly, and 2Pac. This, and a more drastic change in public image, did little to slow his commercial momentum. His streak of Top Ten albums was sustained with releases such as Graffiti (2009), the Grammy-winning F.A.M.E. (2011), and Fortune (2012). Brown's artistic scope has since continued to widen with Heartbreak on a Full Moon (2017) and Indigo (2019), albums as long as epic films. - iTunes Young Thug You don’t get a lot of warning for an artist like Young Thug. From his warped delivery to his radical, gender-fluid fashion sense, the Atlanta rapper (born Jeffery Lamar Williams in 1991) flies in the face of every unspoken rule for what hip-hop is, should, and could be. Starting with a prolific run of mixtapes in the early 2010s, Thug rose by pioneering a weird, ever-shifting flow somewhere between singing, rapping, mumbling and squawking—pushing rap forward by pulling it apart. But the weirdest thing about what he does is that it works: Nearly every project Thug’s released since 2015—from the reggae-inflected JEFFREY to the country-ish sides of Beautiful Thugger Girls—has cracked the mainstream, laying the groundwork for a new crop of fellow eccentrics like Lil Uzi Vert and Playboi Carti. In other words, Thug hasn’t adjusted to convention but brought convention to him. Genuinely experimental, he frames his process in modest terms: “I’m in the studio so much, I’ll just try stuff,” he told The FADER in 2013. “I just think and try, think and try.” - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Chris Brown 2006 02 Run It! June 19, 20206 yr 32 | 36 | 7th week Drake featuring Giveon Chicago Freestyle Album track from Dark Lane Demo Tapes Released: 1st May 2020 Label: OVO Chart Statistics NE (14/05/2020) | 10-30-33-46-49-36-32 Sales: 80k+ Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio __ Sales 17 Audio Streaming __ Video Streaming Video p9pf5EyOgcs Biography A couple of years after he broke into the mainstream with 2009’s So Far Gone, Drake was browsing art in Los Angeles when a piece caught his eye: a big neon sign that read, “LESS DRAKE, MORE TUPAC.” For a minute, he felt angry, embarrassed—he wanted to walk up and rip the sign off the wall. Instead, he bought it. After all, he figured, you get someone hanging your name next to Tupac’s, even if it’s only to take a shot at it? You must be doing something right. Born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto in 1986, Drake became—like Tupac—something of a generational voice, a prism for his pop-cultural moment. Was he an R&B singer who rapped or a rapper who sang? Was he really that sad, or just doing a bit? And if it wasn’t a bit, how could this guy—talented, intuitive, hardworking—really be so down? From minute one, there was something a little different about him: He could be confessional, vulnerable, but also incredibly coarse; he could make an earnest commitment one minute (“Take Care”) and be drunk-dialing the next (“Marvins Room”); he could convince you he was an underdog from his perch on top of the world (“Started from the Bottom”). Critics—and he’s had plenty—like to point out that he started as an actor: He played Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian teen show Degrassi: The Next Generation. But most of all, he felt like a person—someone who isn’t canceled by his paradoxes, but defined by them. Though the feelings remain (always feelings, big feelings), the sound—for the most part, courtesy of longtime affiliate Noah “40” Shebib—is always changing: a little dancehall here (“One Dance”), a little house there (“Passionfruit”), some old New Orleans bounce (“Nice for What”), a bit of Wu-style boom-bap (“Started from the Bottom”), some smooth, to-the-minute trap-soul (“Hotline Bling”). Like Kanye, Drake is as much a curator as he is a creator, an artist capable of arranging collaborators from a universe of styles and making them all fit into his personal vision—an approach that has made him one of the most definitive rappers and pop figures of his era. “I obviously spend a lot of time in my own world,” he told Beats 1 host Zane Lowe in 2016. “But when I do take a look at the broader scope of things, it’s often [in the studio]… Even though I don’t directly, literally address things in my music, I’ve always tried to make music that transcends gender, nationality—to try and unify people. Because that’s really what it’s about.” - iTunes Top 100 Chart History Drake 2009 42 Forever (feat. June 19, 20206 yr this is dreadful  I'm just saying he might have out of the top 40 since Sunday. Yeah probably, I just realised it's performing basically identically to You Need To Calm Down and that dropped out the top 40 on week 3 after re-entering due to SCR reset cos of album impact
June 19, 20206 yr Even as one of his biggest fans on here, I think this is rubbish. Would have preferred them playing the Chris Brown song.
June 19, 20206 yr I didn't mean it like that, I meant has a song with more than 131 weeks in the top 100 ever made the top 40? Probably should've worded it better Ah, OK.
June 19, 20206 yr This song has just made me realise that I'd rather listen to something that's new and awful than something that's 25 weeks old.
June 19, 20206 yr 31 | | 1st week D-Block Europe Free 22 Non-album single Released: 12th June 2020 Label: D-Block Europe Chart Statistics NE (25/06/2020) | 31 Sales: - Certification: - Status: Standard Chart Ratio TBA Sales TBA Audio Streaming TBA Video Streaming Video sL1YPfe-DPg Biography Delivering woozy trap and hedonistic rap verses on tracks such as "Gucci Mane" from their 2018 debut Any Minute Now, D-Block Europe are a London-based rap duo featuring Dirtbike LB and Young Adz. The two rappers met while at school in South London — LB was impressed with the skill Adz exemplified on his first track "Da Prodigy," released when he was just 13. The pair struck up a friendship, with Adz going on to sign a deal with Universal and gaining a following with his mixtapes. The pair began to collaborate in 2014; however, they decided to spend the next two years honing their craft to achieve a unique mix for their project. They made their first appearance in 2017, releasing the singles "Love of the Money" and "Large Amounts" on D-Block Records. The duo gained recognition with the tracks and with continuous support from the BBC's Fire in the Booth and the Westwood Crib Sessions. The two went on to work with various other artists including Not3s and Don Andre. D-Block Europe released their debut LP, Any Minute Now, which featured Yxng Bane in July 2018. Their second mixtape, Home Alone, arrived in early 2019 and featured guest appearances from the likes of Nafe Smallz and M Huncho. After seeing "iamspamspamamiKings" become a U.K. hit, the duo continued in their 2019 hot streak: expansive mixtapes PTSD and Street Trauma dropped in September and December respectively, pulling features from the likes of Dave, Freddie Gibbs and Lil Baby. - iTunes Top 100 Chart History 2018 49 Gucci Mane (D-Block Europe & Yxng Bane) -1- 2018 35 Nassty (D-Block Europe, Young Adz, Dirtbike LB & Lil Pino) -NAS- 2018 80 Tell The Truth (The Plug presents D-Block Europe & Rich The Kid) 2019 16 Kitchen Kings -1- 2019 62 Kettle Pouring -AT- 2019 70 Running Man -AT- 2019 20 Home P*ssy -1- 2019 53 Rich (The Plug presents D-Block Europe & Offset) 2019 16 Nookie (feat.
