I think today this finally clicked with me. Not in a way that it's a highlight of their career but I'm actively thinking that I want to put this on, I think the weather has definitely helped!

Nah, Perrie's post-chorus is magical. Her big note on Power, her choruses of Secret Love Song, ad-libs on Black Magic, opening verse of Shout Out To My Ex, her part on Move etc....I can't tell if I just love her voice or if she's at an advantage because she's been given most of the interesting and powerful parts of the songs.

I'd argue, which is a bit off-topic, that while Nadine had the biggest ad-libs moments, Nicola always had the best parts in their songs.

 

Perrie is however, and I agree with that part, the one who has the biggest vocal range just like Nadine. At the same time, she is still my least favourite (also, just like Nadine). No dig whatsoever, as I do like her, I just like the other girls more.

Some of these could be argued IMO.

 

I absolutely 100% agree with Power, but then again I feel like everyone stands out in that song, but her note is definitely one of their best climaxes. But songs like Black Magic I feel like the best part of the song is the chorus, I dunno if I'd say any of the girls stand out more than the other. Move is another one where I'd say that possibly Jesy has the best verse, mostly due to the choreo that comes with it. And in SLS I'd say Jade does, she seems to connect to the song more.

Jesy almost seems to lack connection sometimes because you can just tell when she doesn't like a song and Leigh always seems to be a bit understated next to the other 3, but she shone really well on LM5.

I feel like Leigh is pretty anonymous on the last couple of singles which is a shame. She hasn't really had a single to properly shine and show off her voice since maybe Think About Us and I still forget what her parts on Holiday sound like.

yesss, a rise on spotify, it got through the lull period in the week

 

if it keeps this up i don't see why it can't rebound into the low 10s (as in.. 19 lol)

Promising to see it rise on HHUK every day now lol.

 

I can see this charting at 20-22 this week then when the video is released i have a strong feeling it will go top 15 and achieve a new peak. I remember the BUS video had a decent impact on the song even tho the views were quite low so i’m remaining hopeful.
