What's your fave of Melanie's three dance-pop lead singles? Surprised Melanie isn't in a forum of her own like Robbie Williams used to be tbh

 

For moi:

 

1. Anymore (her best ever for me, just fab pure pop and legit would've smashed if Zara had released it in 2016)

2. Think About It (I wanna smaaaaash into pieces :jump: a change for her at the time but a welcome one, another should've smashed </3)

3. High Heels (good fun, maybe it drags on a bit but it's such fab campy gay pop)

 

The first two are in my Mel C top 3 :wub: (along with Who I Am x) She has such a rich discography for me to discover though.

1. Think About It :wub: just a strong pop song from start to finish!

2. Anymore - not far behind! my favourite Version of Me single.

3. High Heels - it's FUN but not a Melanie essential for me

Best: Anymore (by far!)

Worst: Think About It

High Heels is the best for me. I know that's maybe an unpopular vote, but I have grown to love it so much. It's cheesy, it's camp and obviously very different compared to her other stuff, but I just love it. Pure pop campness <3

I also have a lot of good memories with this song, for some reason my boyfriend (who basically hates almost every pop song) loves this as well.

 

Least has to be Anymore.

I don’t consider HH a lead dance single though as she confirmed it was a one off for pride and would not be on the album so I see Who I am as the lead for this era in which case my ranking would be

1. Think about it

2. Who I am

3. Anymore

Think about it is my fav. HH instead is so cheap and bland.

 

Think About It is my favourite of these, and I'm pretty sure it's within my Top 5 favourite Melanie songs. :wub: It's such a great song!

Non fans love High Heels? What gives you that indication, its streaming and YouTube numbers are low which doesn't give any indication anyone liked it.
