But a rapper releasing a song about piss with no originality or creativity or promotion can debut top 40 effortlessly. Make it make sense.

is she promoted on Apple? cos it's hard to understand how she is not even top 1000, was like #1100-ish last time I checked

Was kind of expecting this to just be another bland nothingness like 'Love Me Again' was despite the amount of love it got on here but I'm pleasantly surprised, this is actually quite good, probably the most I've enjoyed a RAYE song since 'Shhh' in fact (not that there's a great deal of competition). Hope there's still a chance for this to take off on streaming, it's genuinely shocking how little she's been able to convert her success from 'Tequila' and 'Secrets' into her actual solo releases...

Looking back at her discography to fact check that statement I realised that I have already completely wiped my memory of the fact that she released another single earlier this year ('All Of My Love' feat. Young Adz) - I was sure in my head that this song was the follow-up to 'Please Don't Touch' (and I actually liked AOML more than PDT, it would have been pretty good if not for Young Adz' part!) Reading back this thread it seems like everyone else has collectively either forgotten that as well or just decided to ignore its existence :kink:

I definitely thought the chorus of this was reminding me of something, 'I Will Survive' as Klum said I can kind of see too but I think it's mainly 'Un-Break My Heart' that I was hearing lol ~

I'm loving this too! RAYE keeps on delivering the goods, I'm really going to need an album from her soon!

I don't know what the chances are of this being the song to give her a big solo hit, the likes of 'Love Me Again' and 'Please Don't Touch' both sounded like they could have been huge but nothing much happened to either of those. Hopefully one day, at least she keeps her name out there through the dance collaborations.

I really like this and can't believe it isn't doing better. I was expecting something basic and 'dance by numbers' but it's refreshingly different compared to Raye's other material.
This is good. Another one of these disco-pop songs, this is becoming a trend now after Doja Cat Say So and Dua Lipa Future Nostalgia.

This deserved better. -_-

Why can't RAYE catch a break? Her material has been amazing recently.

To be honest I really associate Raye with the dance collabs anyway (looking forward to the next one after the brilliant 'Secrets') the songs without a dance producer like this one I see almost as being just an extra, although I did like Natalie Don't and would have liked it to go top 40.

One of the most underrated pop songs of the year :( Though I feel like this might stand the test of time among her solo material despite having no chart success.
