July 9, 20204 yr I just heard the NZ iTunes preview, hmmmm not too sure about it. It's certainly typically Katy meets Natasha Bedingfield.
July 9, 20204 yr I like this! It's nothing amazing, bit dated but it's a really fun pop bop with a cute message, it's cute. It reminds me a bit of Gold by Britt Nicole actually!
July 9, 20204 yr I completely agree, it’s classic Katy in a good way that feels fresh. Welcome bop Katy
July 9, 20204 yr This sounds like a great album opener for setting the tone and theme of what is to come. As a full single though... I am underwhelmed. I am not huge on the chorus and said chorus is repeated about 50 times throughout so there's not much else happening away from it
July 9, 20204 yr Third single? What was the second? Never Really Over > Daises > this I know it gets confusing!
July 9, 20204 yr Never Really Over > Daises > this I know it gets confusing! Okay thanks, I was sure ‘Daisies’ was the lead single?
July 9, 20204 yr I'm not mad on this, it's a bit repetitive and irritating. I actually thought the rap version was a bit better, but the part they took out brings it from a 7 to a 6 and leaves the song feeling a little hollow. It's a passable bop, but easily my least favourite of compared to the other 3 songs on the album.
July 9, 20204 yr 9 writers & 3 producers and they came up with THAT? LOL! She really is in dire need to set up an appointment with Dr. Luke. He could do wonders for her. Doja Cat made him cool & legitimate again.

July 9, 20204 yr This isn’t that far away from album track PRISM era. I don’t know if it’s strong enough to be a single though. It’s better than a good portion of Witness but it’s a step down from Daisies. Maybe it’ll sound better in context of the album but if Daisies can only just scrape top 40 I think this will miss out.
July 9, 20204 yr I'm not gonna say it will be a hit, but this honestly sounds way more 'hitty' than Daisies which I never thought would do well outside of A/C Radio.
