July 17, 20205 yr Hailee Steinfeld: Since the Oscar-nominated actress kicked off her music career just under 5 years ago (yep love myself is that old!!), Hailee has served bop after bop after bop and has so far blessed us with two EP's, one which is basically an album now with the amount of songs tacked on it and the first half of an upcoming project *.* I'm starving to get going and thought Hailee would be a really fun pick to work with *.* Hopefully some of y'all unfamiliar with her music will discover some pop gems. Maren Morris: And ofc I was going to use this AF Idol to spotlight a country artist. It was pretty much between Maren and Kelsea Ballerini (I briefly considered Carrie but I decided to go for someone that would be more of a discovery) and have chosen Maren as Kelsea is a bit too similar to Taylor and I feel Maren will go down better in this game. A stunning songwriter with a fabulous voice, I hope you discover some country gems that give you the feels as we explore the highlights of Maren's 2 albums, and her collabs from massive dance hits to beautiful meaningful gems.

July 17, 20205 yr Author Joseph's Artists Fresh from the "Rachel Stevens and Friends" temporary forum for teams, I had to pick my childhood favourite group. Tina, Jon, Paul, Hannah, Bradley, Rachel and Jo launched onto the pop scene with #1 single Bring It All Back and smash hit TV show Miami 7 back in 1999, and released four albums. In total, they achieved 11 top 5 hits and 4 #1s, including Don't Stop Movin' and Never Had a Dream Come True. Of course, Rachel went on to have an especially notable solo career, so we'll of course be celebrating her as well! Over 20 years on, there still ain't no party like an S Club party. Going viral at age 12 after performing Paparazzi by Lady Gaga, singer and pianist Greyson Chance was signed and released his debut album Hold On 'Til the Night a year later. Jump forward to 2019, 21 year old Greyson finally released his sophomore album portraits, returning to music having discovered who he is, both as a person and an artist. portraits was a sophisticated pop album, celebrating Greyson's sexuality and relationships, both good and bad. It's one of the most slept-on albums of the past few years, so hopefully discoveries will be made as recent Greyson will absolutely take priority in this game! By the end, we'll all be dancing next to Greyson *.*
