July 21, 20205 yr Do you really know that Warner did ask for removing Physical? The sales of both tracks were pretty the same this week (judging on positions) so it may be just the case that Hallucinate did really sell more than Physical (at least at the time when chart update was compiled).... anyway, is there a chart update with excluded songs available?

Not for sure, but “Physical” has sold more this week and yet is starred out.

July 21, 20205 yr I'm surprised Greece is doing better now when it sounds like the least commercial of the two tracks to me. Head & Heart is pushing Savage Love but I don't reckon it'll make it this week. Also happy to see Watermelon Sugar, West Ten and Fake Friends getting new peaks!
July 21, 20205 yr I did not expect Boyzlife to be climbing at all in any update, this could surprise me and go top 10, Kygo & Tina Turner falling is disappointing,
July 21, 20205 yr Is it likely for Fine Line to enter the Top 10 come Friday? Edited July 21, 20205 yr by storminthedark
July 21, 20205 yr So Joel Corry & MNEK’s Head and Heart is up by 8.4k while Jason Derulo & Jawsh’s Savage Love is up by 7.9k from yesterday. Joel could take it but either way it will be close.
July 21, 20205 yr Joel has gained by 40% since yesterday Jason has gained by 35% since yesterday If they both carry on like this, ceteris paribus, Joel (and MNEK) should be getting their first UK number one! According to the above percentages, Joel should have sold around 41k in Wednesday’s update and Jason should have sold 41k too. Fridays totals will be interesting but it should be something like this: Singles 1 Joel Corry feat. MNEK - Head & Heart (57.5k) 2 Jawsh 685 & Jason Derulo - Savage Love (Laxed - Siren Beat) (55k) Edited July 21, 20205 yr by Cognizant
July 21, 20205 yr How many sales does it usually take to get a single top 40? Do we think Kylie new single Say Something will do enough? Should do well on Itunes but will Spotify etc support her Disco era? Song out Thursday sometime
July 21, 20205 yr Ellie G holding up very well I think you need around 10K for top 40, so even doing well on iTunes Kylie will need some streaming
July 21, 20205 yr it's usually between 10-11k for a #40. a good iTunes position won't be enough, if I had to guess I'd say Kylie's more likely to miss the top 40 based on her past performance on streaming.
July 21, 20205 yr down - and by a substantial amount too. very little chance it’ll avoid acr. Thank you!
July 21, 20205 yr Thanks all! Am hoping Say Something disco/dance may get streamed more than country Kylie But let's see! Won't bother you again until next week's predictions
