It feels a song that is full of replay.

Can someone else please confirm

 

I have listened to Say Something on Spotify on my Sony phone and I can hardly hear what she is singing.

 

I listen on YouTube on my phone and Say Something is clear as day and sounds 3000 times better.

 

Is it just me?

There's a couple more releases that may push her down. I imagine those in bold will be ahead of her somewhere.

Say Something is truly incredible! :wub: Kylie almost always gets it spot on with her leads, and she's really knocked it out of the park with this one! Already feels like a classic in her discography, to me. Changed my username in dedication to the song :lol:

 

I've made peace with Kylie more than likely never troubling the Top 40 singles chart again, it's a really tall order these days. Hopefully it'll be A-Listed on Radio 2, become a radio hit and encourage high pre-orders for the album - that'll be the main thing.

'Dancing' was second! :o Mabel was #1 and I believe 'These Days' was released later in the morning which pushed 'Dancing' down to third (I think I recall correctly).

Buy on Google play, amazon, HMV and also STREAM.

 

Lyric video on YouTube counts itself for a few streaming points no? And can also trend a little. Also lyric videos give it a tiny bit of chance to be featured on any sort of TV shows if someone is discussing new music etc

 

She just missed out of the top spot and is red now on itunes so sadly won't make it. Let's hope it seels steady today and doesn't get forgotten about. Dancing did this well, infact it's back up to 384 on UK itunes haha with a couple more sales lol

Retroactively looking at the updates on Kworb, the top version of 'Say Something' was very close to reaching #1 but the song did make it with both versions combined.

EDIT: gosh the video really brings it to life. Kylie looks hot. Almost like a carry on from Get Outta My Way fierce look.

Now Friday's here, I'm gonna download both versions from iTunes (and also on Amazon), and stream it at least 10 times a day for the rest of the week!

Yes! Let's try and get it a top 100 official chart next week. Could be tricky but she should get OK streaming today if no other day lol. Even if it is 99th

 

So in two weeks I guess we will have video release (probably on a Tuesday lol) remix release on a Sunday night lol.

I feel the same about GOOMW, since then there were many great songs but none as amazing as this.

 

I think there could have been far worse lead singles than Say Something, but it feels to me Kylie is too much holding on to All the Lovers as if this is her signature song she needs to copy somehow, if it's the sound, the lyrics or just the message. Lovers this, lovers that, you know what I mean... Still I enjoy Say Something, but I have to say I might have listened too much to it in the last 24 hours. Sometimes less is more to still enjoy it.

Up to #110 on Apple Music now.

 

It's been added to The Pop List on Spotify (672k followers) but about half way down the playlist.

Down to 3 in Ireland which i think is still great and its still number 1 in Australia,

Holding up well on Itunes.

 

4 and 21 and combined 3rd.

 

Get watching the YouTube lyric video and the standstill YouTube song that was released yesterday.

 

Good to see it 110th on Apple Streaming

 

The Million Miles Away part is in my head this morning!!!! Its a good sign!

 

They should release a stand alone 59p version in two weeks when video comes out and the remixes at same time....

 

I am guessing single 2 will probably be released second week of September? And then a third 'buzz' single the week before album release? I still think the 6th November is a movable date for album.... There is no doubting they will want a number 1 album just for the media attention it will Bring for potential more sales and Kylie number 1s over 5 decades.

 

I also would not be surprised if single 2 already has a video made, she may have done two together while she could!!!!!
