Out in sixth place - finally! - is Ronan's cover of the 1989 Garth Brooks song. Ronan's version was released in 2002 and served as the first single of his second era, reaching #1 in May 2002 for one week between Holly Valance and Liberty X's reigns. The song became Ronan's third and last UK chart topper to date and was his fifth of 14 consecutive UK top 10 hits. :o I'm not a lover of the song and I don't think it deserved to outlast 'Low'. I'm relieved it hasn't gone any further. The next closest song to getting eliminated had only half Ronan's total of votes with 7.

Going for The Fray again but 'Smile' is overrated and whilst I don't mind 'Bad Day' it's not one I like hearing a lot and can get annoying.

A great top 5 here, Bring Me to Life and How to Save a Life (lol) are my top 2, I hope at least the former can make the final.
