July 28, 20204 yr YG back on their bs they delayed it AGAIN juan carlos making me look like a flop blink feels bad man
September 28, 20204 yr So is the album called Lovesick Girls or is it still BLACKPINK: The Album? Either way I'm excited, probably my favourite K-Pop act and they've certainly been making all the right steps this year to dominating globally!
September 28, 20204 yr Yeah, I am unsure of what the album is going to be called. We will need to wait for the official confirmation
September 28, 20204 yr The term 'title track' is just K-Pop jargon for 'lead single', it doesn't mean it's the name of the album. The tracklist for the album was leaked via Shazam and apparently it's only 8 songs (2 of which are already released ofc) so it's basically just another EP after all  1. Lovesick Girls (Title Track) 2. How You Like That 3. Ice Cream (feat. Selena Gomez) 4. Bet U Wanna (feat. Cardi B) 5. Pretty Savage 6. Crazy Over You 7. Love To Hate Me 8. You Never Know
September 28, 20204 yr I picked it up from being confused at K-Pop discussions xx (see also: the word 'comeback' literally just meaning any new release no matter how long it has been since the previous one)
September 28, 20204 yr I just don't understand why they are just choosing to use English wrong? There was nothing wrong with the original terms
September 28, 20204 yr I just don't understand why they are just choosing to use English wrong? There was nothing wrong with the original terms  The terms ‘title track’ and ‘comeback’ derive from Korean culture. They’re the words that are used to describe what Bré has already explained, so I wouldn’t say it’s wrong English per say, they’re just examples of Koreanisms. Anyway I am beyond excited for this. Yeah it sucks that there are only eight tracks after all these years, but on the flip side at least it’s a moderately full body of work [after all these years]. :cheer:
September 29, 20204 yr Yes their social messaging/hashtag style must be very Korean, which is probably why it comes across as quite bizarre to a western user. I remember a recent press release which also was in English but looked like it had never been proofread by a fluent speaker/copyrighter, so English is definitely not their team's forte :)

October 1, 20204 yr The Cardi collab has a snippet floating about Twitter which sounds really promising
October 1, 20204 yr I love the fact that BP is doing more concepts than just the usual "club banger with designer everything": Sour Candy sounded like something f(x) would do and the virtual avatar lyric video was so different for them, HYLT was within their comfort zone, Ice Cream had more of a bubblegum concept, and this looks like they're paying homage to early 2010's K-pop with the visuals, I am SO EXCITED *.* I'm just sad that TWICE is promoting at the end of the month so once again we were robbed of TwicePink interaction
October 1, 20204 yr I'm so excited to listen to this on by lunch break tomorrow :D Just got an email from HMV to say my physical copy has been dispatched too!
October 1, 20204 yr Is this likely to be the #1 album next week? What sort of sales would you predict for this? There's a lot of competition, I think #1 will be Queen or Bon Jovi
