Yes I'm pleased for Peter. He was perfectly nice enough and did deserve to win too, it just doesn't feel like he's had much of a journey to get there - even though it's a journey lasting half of his life(!)

 

 

ps Dave offering "I'll feed you later if you want me to" has to be one of the more unlikely sentences of the series.

 

 

Could have gone either way but a nice winner.

Why did they insist on recording it on the one day that Tom Allen wasn't recording something else? :(

omg poor Alexandra was reduced to background singer as the contestants and judges were interviewed at the end over the top of her! Seemed quite odd to sandwich in a music performance into a show about baking. Have they ever done this before?

They've her performers on the last few, but they usually get more prominence IIRC :lol:
