It was my entry and I know nothing about it :lol: It came up in one of Spotify's recommendation playlists. I was impressed to see that the video had accumulated all of about 50 plays :D

If a 20 second piece of 'music' can still get points, a null pointer truly is never going to happen :') (that's not even the all time lowest I think!), Beaver should send Napalm Death - You Suffer next if he's going for the short song record, that'll never be beaten.

 

Anyway, great results there for the most part from my own semi (turns out most of what I thought was at risk got through!) and I'm sure there's a lot of goodness from Semi 1 to get into as well. My DNQ votes:

Never heard of them, and Google told me very little too. I pretty much thought the same as you, it's almost like a group of bankers giving it their best shot to come last in a heat at Melodifestivalen (20 years ago).

None of my big hitters went out but I was getting concerned I was going to have a lot of casualties! I should've given Holland-Oats my 1 point over New Lexico, they were my 13th fave country of semi 1 and I've found myself listening to the song quite a bit. Also surprised D'yermak'er and New Lexico have gone I thought that they would be fairly safe qualifiers. Why So Sirius I'm sad about but I did predict it to DNQ so not too gutted on that one.

A shame the Teapot song is out. It's a real earworm.

My favourite thing about the semi-voting process was that you voted for Teapot!

I honestly wasn't expecting to qualify so this was a welcome surprise! I checked in about 3/4ths of the way into the reveal and didn't see my name so I thought it was a lost cause. Sulli DQ'ing is criminal though, one of my favorite songs of last year. If only I was in Semi 2 :(

 

I didn't think I'd be the only one to give Beaver points... :wacko: Very few songs stood out to me in Semi 1 and I at least enjoyed myself listening to it! Sorry for dashing's everybody's dream of a null-pointer.

scherzland deserved so much better! reminded me of sky ferreira in parts. surprised d'yermak'er wasn't a veto tbh but it's a bop, though i never gathered r&b that wasn't v poppy would be too popular here anyhow. same w holland-oats and guitar music. ALSO i mentioned in the predix thread that trifoski would be getting my support, that was before i did my second listen and re-ordered my votes! sorry for being a fake fan :'(
