BMG have gone for Q4 sales this year from some of their big acts like Kylie, Steps, Mcfly etc and why wouldn't you when many months we have been in lockdown.

 

Remember when BMG boss said of Golden that they could have released Q4 but they didn't and took their time etc. They gone for sales in the busiest quarter for Disco and would no risky. Let's hope she still does it and if she doesn't a little creativity early next year still could allow the album to get number 1 in a quiet week 😂

I remain hopeful they can do this.

I also believe Kylie more than ever wants this Number 1.

 

Probably, but the way she's spoken about it I don't think she'll feel aggrieved if she loses out (and she's not really the sort of person to anyway).

 

With regards to 'Magic', I'm confident of a top 75 now! Gonna go with #72.

When they say Kylie had so-and-so many top 75 hits, does this include those songs she's been featured: Taio Cruz, Visionmastes and Towa Tei? Do her group singles (Band Aid 2, Helping Haiti, BBC Music) count for her chart success, too?

I'm glad that Magic should at least chart somewhere in the Top 100. Still bothers me a bit that BMG throwaway a fairly significant number of downloads, as well as the first day curiosity streams, and make them count for nothing. :zzz:

Well she said on radio 2 that there are remixes not just one remix and it needs a boost this week somewhere as the single version is out of the iTunes top 100 after 5 days.

New version out Friday. Whether it's acoustic, a remix and maybe single mix reduced to 59p. Suprised no lyric video yet either just to add some more streaming
