It's sad that Apple haven't given this anywhere near the support they usually do with singles..

 

BUS and Holiday were both 3/4 ish on A List Pop and on the front page on 'Hot Songs'

 

SM is literally not even top 10 on any other playlist other than NMD, I wonder if they push it higher over the weekend if it takes off a bit?!

Probably after the performance. When do the playlists next update?

Can't fault RCA at all with this, We haven't had a proper advertising campaign for ages!

 

Sounds SO GOOD in the adverts too with the whole 'Little Mix Sweet Melody Out Now' after the clip plays :wub:

Video is a total serve too wow.

 

Kinda disappointed with Ari, shame that it won't be something I love overshadowing them as a bit of compensation 🥴

There’s no way this won’t not debut top 50 on Spotify! It will debut higher than Holiday because it’s got a music video and it’s got decent Spotify playlisting!

I feel like this doesn't play to any of their strengths.

Personally I think this is one of the best songs they've put out.

It should easy debut top 20. The problem is the following days when the past singles dived to 30-40. Let's hope this is at least steady until radio/higher playlisting kicks in.

I feel like this song/video (in fact, the era as a whole) is fixing the loss of support and popularity they had after a shitty 2019. It seems like they're back on top again.
Jesy in this video is honestly giving me life, she is just a star.

The advantage that this song has that neither BUS or Holiday had is that it's not released on the same day as a big popstar releasing their hugely hyped albums!

 

BUS went up against Dua Lipa - Future Nostalgia (who moved her release date forward, digitally :lol:)

Holiday went up against a surprise Taylor Swift release

 

So I am really hoping that this can have a stronger day-to-day hold than those did.

Really ? I don’t see how it doesn’t play to there strengths they all have moments that shine in this video and the song is a bop and probably there most radio friendly song this era .

They served in the video, but it’s just so empty. Where’s the budget?!!
Not sure about anybody else but this feels like Jesy's era. I find myself constantly listening to her solo bits most intently and listening our for her harmonies and I can't keep my eyes off her , especially in the Sweet Melody video. :wub:
This is bizarrely catchy, it just won't leave my head (neither the chorus, the do do's or Perrie's verse).
