Out in fourth place is perhaps one of the oldest songs to feature thus far - having been released right at the beginning of 2000. 'Rise' has remarkably gone from being the song with the least amount of votes in every round to getting eliminated just like that! :o Released in January 2000 as the second single from the album of the same name, 'Rise' knocked Britney's 'Born To Make You Happy' off the top spot to become Gabrielle's second UK #1 - seven years after her first with 'Dreams'. The song is notable for containing one of the rarely authorised Bob Dylan samples - the backing of his 1973 song 'Knockin' On Heaven's Door' is rather prominent throughout 'Rise'.

Gone for LMC. Love how Leona Lewis keeps surviving!

Ugh another bad result, Rise is such an immaculate slice of noughties pop

I only like LMC from what's left.

Kings of Leon aren't seriously going to win are they? I feel like I've been voting for them since at least round 2 :drama:
Rise is beautiful. Time for Run to GO.
It's so close. Run can't leave now. :drama:

But it’s so dreary and she breaks into needles wailing towards the end. It’s always been extremely overrated.
