In a close battle with Leona Lewis throughout Round 8, LMC vs U2 succumb eventually to a third place finish. The song, an interpolation of Whitney Houston's 'How Will I Know' and U2's 'With Or Without You', was released in January 2004 and entered the chart at number one - dethroning the magnificent Michelle McManus - and blocking 'Milkshake' from giving Kelis a number one single. The song was LMC's first and only top 20 hit and U2's fifth number one single.

The right final two. :wub: I have to go with 'Run'. A magnificent cover. The Radio 1 Live Lounge original was simply incredible. A real moment! And then the X Factor performance. :cheeseblock:

Good lord this is a truly awful final 2 :drama: Run is such a nothingy cover and Use Somebody is one of the worst songs of the entire decade. How did it come to this 😳

Use Somebody... but it’s not like it’s a huge fave or anything. Rise was my favourite in the list.
Wanted a Leona win from round 1. Love that she is run-ning away with it at the moment!
