Here's how it came together, with Guetta's involvement ;)

The creation of BED, Joel tells OfficialCharts.com, began last summer in a studio session with Jin Jin, a singer-songwriter best known for co-writing hits for Jess Glynne and Sigala. "Jin Jin played me some of RAYE’s demos and that was the first time I heard BED," he explained. "I knew it was magic, it was like love at first sight! I slid into RAYE’s DMs on Instagram and she told me that she wrote the idea with David Guetta. I got in contact with David and he was happy for me to work on it with RAYE. Me and RAYE hit the studio together and developed the rest of the song. Fast forward eight months and we are ready to release BED to the world.
Think this could already be my favourite of his singles to date! I quite liked both Lonely and Head & Heart but didn't love either, not sure I'm completely loving BED yet either but it's gripped me more instantly than either of those ever did! The best track RAYE's been involved with for quite some time as well.
Regardless, Secrets and Tequila all waving at you! :hi:

They can keep waving but I won't be waving back! :kink: (that list gets worse as it goes on x)

I'm liking this. Obviously not as good as Head and Heart (the best somg of 2020) but will be happy hearing this bring played on the chart show for the next 6 months or so.

Not sure it needs the Guetta credit though.

This song is OK but not great imo. A bit basic imo and also a bit too poppy for my liking.

I like the disco violin sound effects though, pity there isn't more disco influence in it which would have made it more interesting I think.

I can actually tell where David Guetta's influence can be heard, namely in the synths in the buildup to the last chorus.

And yet he didn't produce the track at all :kink:

I prefer Head & Heart but this is pretty good too.

I prefer some other contemporary dance hits like The Business and Goosebumps but this is enjoyable too.

#12 on Apple and #33 on Spotify. Good start! :D

Like others have said, not as good as Head & Heart (or even Lonely for me) but it's a good effort and Joel Corry and RAYE rarely put a foot wrong. I reckon this will climb up the charts like all the rest and properly peak around April or May when the weather is a lot better. Will sound good in the sun!
