the original had never charted in the UK

Yes it did, it got to #24.

Maybe in the days before the Internet existed there might have been people who first heard the song via The Corrs and didn't know it was Fleetwood Mac's song but I'm pretty sure the original would be vastly, vastly more well-known to everyone outside of maybe a few people from that specific generation.

Really hoping Miley is at #5 tomorrow!

Is she likely to only be 5 or 6? Like she’s likely to at least get a new peak either way?

Fingers crossed Future Islands can stay Top 20 but kinda doubt it will happen.
Are Little Mix still top 40?
The John Lennon single disc CD is only £4.99 from Amazon with free delivery.
Oh great, 24kGoldn looking likely to avoid ACR

If you're comparing to last Thursday's data, there's little point, there was way more missing data last Thursday.

I still remember that when the Corrs released it and become huge, many thought it was their song,

the original had never charted in the UK and now there's a sorta Fleetwood Mac revival but in the late 90s / early 00s, there was not

sure all the teenagers from the early 00s didn't know Fleetwood Mac

Maybe some people thought it was a Corrs original but IIRC, it was pretty common knowledge it was a Fleetwood Mac cover.

The breakthrough performance of the song, shown on BBC1 and which turned the band’s fortunes around in the UK, was even performed live with Mick Fleetwood at the Royal Albert Hall. The band mentioned they’d recorded the song for a Fleetwood Mac covers album.

Yes I was. 36.3k last week as opposed to 36.5k this week

I'm praying for Looking For Me. It was 23.2 last Thursday and today 24.2.
Do we know if mood is currently heading to acr or not? I hope not, it doesn’t feel old enough yet !
I challenge Suedehead2 only to make a brief comment about it and not give his opinion about it entering in the chart commentary this week!

Only just seen this :D I might say a little bit :o
