The whole excitement for me when this dropped was that K could tag on to current airplay darling and get some mileage for this song. If Dua’s camp isn’t promoting it much, then I wonder why they even bothered “releasing” it (or releasing it now).

Ya I was hoping for more of a push from dua lipas team but the fact its given kylie her 3rd top 100 from disco has kept me content.

19 on the rolling airplay chart...

Looks like if we get nothing released this Friday then they are letting Real Groove flop.

 

Down to 141 on iTunes , album version disappeared.

 

They may have things lined up who knows. I am still hopeful 🙂

Where's the video?

I think the Infinite performance is the video and they save money doing it this way.

I mean at the very least they should have added the Dua version onto Disco on streaming.

 

Even if they give us a remix EP etc., I would say that RG is done with tbh - if they was going to build on momentum of the remix then it kind of should have happened by now.

It looks so good!! Very happy we're getting a vinyl. Not released until April 30th though! I'm guessing it's to ensure there's no problems with delivery?

Are we expecting a new version of Disco coming on that week too?

 

I think there will be.......

 

UK should be open a bit more, Brit awards on the 11th May.... I can definitely see something else being released that week otherwise no reason to delay this release until end of April. I mean if it's 4000 limited edition vinyls that would not mean having to wait until April logistically.

 

But who knows!

 

I suspect Real Groove and then another single in end of March/April and an album announcement? Would make sense. It's almost same time frame as Golden had when first released? Dancing announced in Jan album 3 months later.

 

She has time to holiday and record a few new bits and bobs.

Great news on the vinyl, im loving that we are getting physical releases for all the singles from Disco as they missed out on that trick with the Golden singles, its seems a long time away but i would not be surprised if a 4th single is out by then and like say something and magic both vinyls will be posting together.

Vinyl pressing plants have a huge backlog of releases to produce, which is why a lot of vinyl releases have far off release dates (for instance Taylor Swift - evermore isn’t out until May). If an album has a vinyl available in the first week of the album being on sale, that will be because the label arranged its production months in advance of the release date.

 

Therefore Real Groove’s April release date is more than likely because the product won’t exist until then. I’m sure BMG’s only plan for this is to make money...!

Yup. Maybe they can see how many orders they get then cut it off in a week and put the order in for 10,000 instead of 4,000 😜

I bet Covid hasn't helped this also.

I’m so pleased they have done this - fans and collectors have been asking for it so they have responded, yes it’s a great money spinner for BMG & Kylie but another physical is what we asked for and they have delivered, we might get a remix EP of RG but I’ll think we’ll be onto single 4 by the time this is released on vinyl so it will have minimal chart impact which is not their aim anyway.
