Yup. Maybe they can see how many orders they get then cut it off in a week and put the order in for 10,000 instead of 4,000 😜

Haha yeah, or a CD single... the sky is the limit!

Stick an EP out on Friday 15th to download and stream and they would Defo get another top -100 week easily. Add a video of any kind and Defo

Vinyl already sold out.

If pre orders sell out quickly and I believe they will the label should organise the production of an extra batch and repeat until demand fades.

I'm fairly convinced either fewer were pressed than the last two, or fewer were put up for pre-order.

They put it up at quite a silly time, when a lot of people were at work and missed out... and then there's the issue of so called "fans" I've seen who managed to buy quite a few for the purpose of profiting from them.

Seeing it 'sold out' just 4 hours after being put up for pre-order is kind of annoying. It could be like Pippa suggests, phased availability... a scare tactic to make people rush to buy it when (if) it becomes available again... hmm. I'm glad I ordered in time anyway. :drama:
It’s crazy not to have more copies available....they’ve not stated the amount available so no one can complain.

I’m sure less were produced (2k maybe?), also there was an increased demand - some of my friends are Dua collectors and got copies as she is featured so more people going for potentially less copies.

I really hope this is the tactic.

The label know these will sell and the demand is there and this time Dua Lipa fans will be looking to purchase too.

It would be stupid not to press more of them.

They limited them to 2 copies each so makes me think they put up all their stock at once?

That release date is so bizarre. Surely it doesn't take 4 months to manufacture it, there must be another reason. Charts can't be it, the streams of RG have been long way in decline by then.

That will be the reason - vinyl plants (there are very few in the world) have a massive backlog. As mentioned by a couple of members, covid hasn't helped this. It's going to be weeks from now until it is Real Groove's turn to be manufactured!

Lana Del Rey's upcoming album was ready months ago, but her label wouldn't commit to releasing it until vinyl formats were ready for first week impact. Taylor Swift 'evermore' was rush released in December, but the vinyl won't be ready until May. Her folklore and cardigan vinyl formats weren't ready for 5 months!

Still feel they will have something else out that week .... Vinyl productions issues or not.

They could have had the vinyl produced months ago to coincide with this time of year. All vinyl singles for Golden and Disco have all been released on a date for pre order of an album. Disco will be 6 months old at end of April and they will want to sell more. Some kind of re-issue will surely come around the same time even if it is an Infinite Disco added DVD addition. The campaign needs to boost and it's the perfect time when we should be coming out of lockdown for summer at least, perfect Disco weather

Any re-issue could have the Real Groove Remix with Dua on it to replace the orginal and that way it would get extra streams to add to the vinyl single sales that week

24 on the rolling airplay chart, can’t remember where it was yesterday but it’s been dropping back each day sadly.
