Although the Remix was getting 7-8k Spotify streams a week ago and top 200 in Finland so many it has some exposure

Low sales or not its good to see it getting that high in Finland as im sure it helps gives the song even a tiny bit of exposure.

Even if an EP was released, it would have a very temporary and minimal overall effect anyway. I get the desire for it if you’re incredibly keen to hear a couple of new remixes, but from a chart point of view it’s really not that important. If Real Groove is destined to do well, it’ll be down to the Dua version and album version.

Well not really the strategy was to release remixes to push the album streaming during the whole campaign. Kylie won't keep those Spotify monthly listeners high without new content being pushed out, the Dua remix has already helped reduce the impact of Santa Baby and Xmas songs streaming collapse on Spotify. She will still drop like a stone in February but more remixes of songs can help

 

What I am saying is, she has a cover for the vinyl and that cover will surely be used for some kind of Real Groove download. I've never seen a Kylie song released without remixes or edit, iTunes bundle and I can't think Real Groove will just have a Dua colab and nothing else. It either comes out when the song is on radio or they wait until the week the vinyl is released. Not saying it will do much but it has potential to be well inside the top 75

Drops to 23 on the airplay chart.

 

They definitely need a couple of remixes, don’t think an edit is going to happen as it’s already radio friendly. A proper video would have been welcome but it looks as though that ain’t happening.
