Charts don't measure "the quality of streams". They are about quantity, whether sales or streams.

the spotify uk charts are already filtered and only use non-bot like streams so lm’s track would have even more but we won’t find out till later so they should’ve made around 2000 sales from streams so far, most likely 10,000 by the end of charting week

It’s so close. Little Mix should make their gains in streaming but I imagine Kylie will in pure sales too. I could see this coming down to very slim margins.

Little Mix doing better than I expected them to, I thought they may have found themselves with similar numbers to Ariana last week and was expecting Kylie to walk it.

I can see Gaga holding on with the best opening this year still :o

I guess I’d expect Little Mix to take it then? I can see more Kylie fans buying on day 1 (including pre-orders) and Little Mix will also make up that gap on streams unless Kylie significantly pulls ahead.

 

I’ve bought the deluxe CD of both. Not heard either yet but I generally would favour Kylie. However Sweet Melody and Break Up Song are two of Little Mix’s best singles in years.

I still think Kylie, her promo and the Infinite Disco event will help push sales more.

 

She has signed Vinyls coming too.

 

The Signed HMV copies (2,000) wouldn't have been added yet either because it's states dispatch on the 10th.

It’s going to be close. Kylie doubled her opening Golden figures of 24k, I doubt she’ll double these but they could go up significantly, especially after Graham Norton last night.

With that small gap, I would think LM are pretty close on Monday mids already and overtake as the week goes ahead.

So insanely happy about the sales!!!

 

Kylie and Little Mix have really both went and outdone Ariana’s and Sam’s full first week with preorder and first day numbers without streaming. British pop legends! Both defying industry odds to be honest.

Those sales for both are ABSOLUTELY incredible given how poor Music sales have become.

 

I just want both to do over 50k but I guess it depends if they both push different formats.
