Interesting the extra copy of the deluxe CD I ordered from her webstore was showing as complete so I assumed it had shipped however I just minutes ago received a dispatch email so there could be a (small) boost from them tomorrow if it was the same for everyone.

Hopefully thats the case and it will give a last minute lift.

Probably going to be overtaken by Miley tomorrow but should still have done enough to stay Top 20.

So deluxe CDs are coming so it’s good to know they are planning on having them available again (Banquet have they standard CD & Vinyl in stock though so it’s not like they don’t have anything atm).

Isn't Taylor Swift new album out at midnight? I guess it's download and stream only but could she get that amount of sales in one day?

It's the competition. Some albums in week 1 or 2 of their life so will sell more, plus Xmas albums all selling Dolly, Jamie, Boe and Ball, then the big sellers like Bocelli, Reus, Diamond, Johnny Cash and then the big streamers Miley, Little Mix etc.

 

I am happy with what she done, but I stick by my comment about availability and visibility of formats.

I will be disappointed if it slipped out of the top 20 tomorrow.

I do think when the Week 2s and 3s fall further next week, she'll regain ground. That said: it's so foolish for her not to have any kind of Dec TV promo.

I think kylie and the label will be very happy with how its done and anything from here is a bonus, they will prob let it sell naturally for the remainder of the year and do some kind of push again in early 2021.

I honestly cannot with you Kylie fans. The woman has done basically every single promo slot that's possible in the UK, has worked her ass off, and people still find way to complain there should be more promo. Do fans seriously only think about sales and chart positions? Let her enjoy her free time a bit, after a massive promo campaign and what is on course to be one of her most successfull career years in a long time.

The album is about to go Gold, has had a positive reception outside of the fanbase and is shaping up to being her biggest selling album with BMG and yet some of the comments I read (particularly on SH) would make a reader believe the album had gone 1-33-98-out :lol:

 

There is literally nothing left for her to do promo wise - she’s even done shows she’s never touched before such as Sunday Brunch etc.,

 

The comments about availability are tiresome - there are standard CDs and vinyl available yet again reading comments across multiple platforms you would believe there wasn’t a copy to be found

maybe tiresome re availability but it is a valid remark. you go on her website and click the main page deluxe CD and it redirects to Amazon deluxe which has no stock for weeks. that is criminal. its nothing to so with Kylie, its BMG. i am not saying it for chart postions i am simply saying it as a website design. if things have not been available for weeks and weeks (turquoise vinyl, bundles, clear vinyl, deluxe) then take it down. It is lazy. you would have to search her website very hard to find the website exclusive deluxe. it is hoped BMG team look at the chat boards now and again which i am sure they do and see it and fix it.

I get what you’re saying but the general public use Amazon over the kylie shop option. I don’t think availability is a factor at all. The hardcore fans bought it over the first 2 weeks.

Nice play of Real Groove on Ken Bruce earlier, he specially mentioned it afterwards and that it was from her album Disco.
