And so we have it. My #1 song of the year and just look at the chart run for it. Not peaking until 11 weeks after it entered. This is one of my favourite ever Katy Perry songs for a start and I can't quite state how underrated this is. It's absolutely beautiful and the video is fantastic. I guess this kind of reminds me of her earlier days as well.

I'm happy to see Cardigan in your top 10. I just listened to Folklore again and it was sounding especially great.

 

I liked the Millie Turner song you entered to BJSC too :D

my faves from your top 10 would have to be Space, Tick Tock and Physical. wasn't that keen on Daisies myself but liked Never Really Over a fair bit (it was #101 in my EOY last year). Say Something is rather good by Kylie's recent standards too.

So happy that 'Physical' placed so high here and would've done even better had your chart returned earlier! I'm not planning to do an EOY chart (my favourite top 40 hits of each year one is enough work as it is) so I'll just say here that 'Physical' has remained my favourite song of the year :wub: with 'Rain On Me' a close 2nd. It blew me away from day 1, spent 12 weeks at #1 on my chart and has not tired on me whatsoever. Can't wait to hear it live!

 

Some great choices elsewhere since I last commented too like the Taylor songs and 'Magic'. <3

Tick Tock was one of the best charting songs of the year for me, nothing spectacular but very catchy. Underwater was definitely your best BJSC entry this year as well, really enjoyed that! Daisies wasn't too bad either on me, grew on me after a few listens.

Cardigan took a while to actually grow on me :lol: but I suppose it did get there in the end.

Yeah, I was obsessed with Physical before I came back to Buzzjack. An absolute bop and I assume will remain as the best song of her career. I can't see her topping it, honestly.
