December 14, 20205 yr Probably because she’s an easy target and doesn’t have any stans on here so no one really responds when Buzzjack go on a pile on. There’s no outrage or arguments like other artists would get. Personally, I quite like Jess’s music in a fun and throwaway kind of way. I’m not looking for the reinvention of music when I listen to Jess, just some catchy tunes and she delivers on that. I guess another reason is that she has had that many no.1s when so many Buzzjack female faves haven’t so there’s an annoyance there too. You have a strong dislike for Anne-Marie because of how basic her songs are, so it is strange that you love Jess Glynne.
December 14, 20205 yr The Pogues YouTube channel has just uploaded the edited version of Fairytale of New York, the edit sounds much smoother and less obvious than when they play it on the radio. The comments on the video however are as you’d expect...

December 14, 20205 yr The Killers Imploding the Mirage vinyl really giving it a good boost. Really want santa baby to go top 40 for Kylie this week.
December 14, 20205 yr The higher up Christmas songs on lower sales than last week’s Monday mids (except Jess x)
December 14, 20205 yr The Pogues YouTube channel has just uploaded the edited version of Fairytale of New York, the edit sounds much smoother and less obvious than when they play it on the radio. The comments on the video however are as you’d expect... I've just looked out of curiosity and it's cos they have left "$l*t" in that edit, which Radio 1 have taken out in their edit (which sounds very obvious of an edit, seeing as it's not being replaced with anything).
December 14, 20205 yr Willow holding up well! Thought it would have dropped a few places in this update.
December 14, 20205 yr Sam’s Love Goes remains being stable It was £4.99 on HMVs daily ‘Price Crash’ deal which has helped it, Neil Diamond is their price crash item today.
December 14, 20205 yr Surprised to see Diamond ahead of B&B but perhaps that HMV thing explains it. Yay Taylor!!
December 14, 20205 yr Im guessing Justin Bieber will get a #1 this Xmas? Not only dies he usually do extremely well in charting over here but Amzon some how pulled of an Ellie Goulding win and Bieber is a bigger seller
December 14, 20205 yr Me! Didn't come out that long ago. What's your point? I love plenty of 'pure pop' music and the new Taylor album! Surely this forum is better than music snobbery :P Oh absolutely, I'm the same!! Edited December 14, 20205 yr by ts7sfkptm
December 14, 20205 yr You have a strong dislike for Anne-Marie because of how basic her songs are, so it is strange that you love Jess Glynne. I don’t ‘love’ Jess Glynne, I find her songs pleasing to listen to. I can’t stand Anne Marie’s voice and find a lot of her songs cringy. That is allowed. It seems odd to Wade into a conversation to call me strange but you do you.
December 14, 20205 yr I know we’re in a pandemic etc etc but what grim album sales overall - the art of gifting physical albums at Christmas is really becoming a thing of the past :drama:
December 14, 20205 yr I know we’re in a pandemic etc etc but what grim album sales overall - the art of gifting physical albums at Christmas is really becoming a thing of the past :drama: I’ve always received albums every year at Christmas, and I hope this tradition continues until the day I die.
