Yeah I bet the other girls have known for ages (I’m assuming her contract was expiring as it’s close to the anniversary of when they won X Factor? Same timing as Camila Cabello?) but I was just thinking how weird it must be for all of them to go from being around eachother 24/7 since like, summer 2011 and now they’ll not see her anywhere near as often.

 

I dunno. I remember when the Fifth Harmony girls said they barely saw eachother since they split up and it sounded so weird. I know Little Mix are much closer and we don’t know them personally but realising that their relationship with Jesy is going to change makes me pretty sad?

Feels like you’re reading too far into it. The girls have been very clear in the past that not everything they do is public. They would’ve done their goodbyes and their soppy speeches to each other a while ago. Why dig it up again? I also don’t think it’s fair to look for something that isn’t there considering from the beginning they’ve all supported each other.

 

 

the girls were also very clear that "if one of us left, that would be it" so you can't really take everything they've ever said to be gospel.

 

there's a vast difference between a soppy speech + what jesy posted. having followed them since x factor + hearing how they spoke to each other, their terms of endearment, their love for each other - i don't think it's unfair to question why she would simply thank them in an otherwise honest + frank statement.

 

also, with respect, you have no more idea than i do that there's 'nothing there'.

My opinion and belief is that they will finish their contractual obligations off - and tour next year... then ‘take a break, to pursue solo projects’ going their separate ways.

 

I honestly don’t think this is it for the original line-up of LM though. I think Jesy needs some time away, they probably all do.. but they’ll come back together as a four pieces at some stage in the future

I think the ‘we’re not ready to leave Little Mix’ is purely just to help sell the album and tour if I’m honest.

 

I’m sure like others have said this will be it or they will do a greatest hits / potentially one more album if there’s any ties to contracts with RCA.

 

I’m confident they will come back as a 4 eventually though, in fact I think it’s a given unlike The Saturdays etc...

 

I just really hope they do remain the best of friends and things haven’t turned slightly sour behind the scenes.

 

It’s obvious Jesy left before the album release and they softened the blow by performing as a 3 and getting fans/ the public used to seeing them as a 3...

 

It’s actually a really clever way of doing it, announcing it all after the last bit of promo.

I feel really sad that she didn’t do this one last tour too, Even if she was absent from all media / tv appearances I always thought she loved the tours!

 

Devastating but obviously her heath comes first, I kinda wish it wasn’t so official though, that she just took a very very extended break but that the door was always open for her to return at any time.

 

I’m still never saying never, I’ve kept hope with The Saturdays even knowing that’ll never ever happen.

 

But who knows!

Great reads. Quite refreshing when usually the press/most journalists are the first to tear her/them down, but a lot slower to get articles like those out.

The outpouring of love Jesy and the rest of the girls have had over the past 24 hours is so special, the public have shown so much love and admiration it’s unreal, I haven’t heard or read one negative comment, the future looks great.. also the chorus of I’m a Mess has such a different feel listening to it today

The fact she clocked out during release week... she musn't like 'confetti' too much. I think the last video I saw of them as a fourpiece she seemed so uninterested. Didn't it go round twitter as a meme?

Crazy theory, but could this have been released when it was and not in the new year because she was planning to leave the group?

I am so sad to see her leave the group but it seems she has been in a bad way with all the pressures of fame.

 

I mean, most groups only manage one more album at most after a member leaves so it seems like the end could be approaching for LM which is a shame.
