I guess that explains it but thought both might still show up on Monday even if they didn't hang on until Friday.

who's gonna buy a deluxe version on iTunes that just has 1 brand new song?

people will download the new song and that's it

Deluxe versions only make sense if there's a new physical or if there is a lot of new content

otherwise it's a wasted opportunity like in the Killers case

There's only so many physicals people will buy of one album, especially as The Killers have an entire new album coming this year

then don't do the Deluxe edition, totally pointless for a band that only sells well on physicals

plus, you're comment on "there's so many physicals people will buy of one album", couldn't be more off. 2020/2021 is the year of the vinyl variants

people are going crazy for colour variants alone. You release any album in any new colour variant and it sells out in 5 nanoseconds,

we see it again and again with lots of artists that are not that popular, like Phoebe Bridgers is releasing and re-releasing new variants of her album

and it's totally impossible to grab one, one second and they're all gone... labels are even doing it with older albums and they sell out in seconds, not even minutes...

Edited by Bjork

great for Wellerman to climb at #2 over Fredo!! too bad we lost Apricots

It's just a bonus thing for fans, "C'est La Vie" was cut from the original album so they might as well have released it.

Just realised Clean Bandit are probably going to miss the top 75!

Where are Little Mix please ? (Confetti, Sweet Melody, No Time For Tears...)

Thanks :)

I know it’s another “if only” but had there been no new-releases this week, Harry could’ve nabbed that number-one album spot finally.

Good to see Save Your Tears, Heat Waves and Regardless on the climb! The former should get a big boost thanks to The Weeknd being on the Super Bowl and his Greatest Hits album where SYT is track #1. Hoping it'll go top 20 eventually! Heat Waves also  hoping this is a slow climb up the charts, seems to have some momentum behind it! Also surprised how Money Talks has reclaimed the #2 position after dropping to #3 yesterday, perhaps the making of a more substantial hit?

'Wellerman' has had a weird trajectory in the mids both last week and this week - last week it was initially extending its lead over The Kid LAROI but then suddenly fell behind, and now it's overtaken Fredo only to fall back behind the following day.

Still fingers crossed for the top 4 albums to all pass 10k - oops at Steven Wilson apparently only increasing by ~100 today though after doing ~500 the previous day. Fredo closed the gap to the top 2 by >1k today so he should be #2 in the mids tomorrow and on Friday barring any late sales reporting for Arlo and/or Steven.
