March 22, 20214 yr Interesting to see Kate has left AC12. Personally I think this was just a plot device to hark back to the days of Kate being able to go "undercover" for AC-12 since she couldn't do it any longer as a DI and given her higher profile. I guess we'll find out if she agrees to be a 'chis' next week! Also, poor Steve still not getting his promotion to DI despite Kate leaving!
March 22, 20214 yr Is that just off the Antrim Rd? Was hard to tell from the pictures! The flat looked like Cregagh flats too! Very close! It’s just off the Cavehill Road. The bookies featured in that scene is actually a fitness centre in real life.

Usually they like to keep us guessing a few episodes in whether they're bent/blackmailed unless you're Daniel Mays :lol: I am sure she is a puppet, but they've spelled it out early for us that she was aware of what was going on. I did begin to wonder if possibly Kate is already undercover in MIT, something dodgy going on with her.

And given how involved she has been in investigating the OCG over the years and even interviewed him in s1, I'm surprised she wouldn't have recognised Ryan's name or she'll at least connect the dots soon?!

I do get the feeling she may be working undercover and only Ted knows about it. There's a still on Twitter that when AC-12 came in, she was looking at Ryan's police profile. Surely only a matter of time before Kate/Steve work it out.. or one of them gets offed in the process. Either that or she is H :D :lol:

I've not paid any attention to the official BBC one as for the previous series found that the Shrine of Duty pod was leagues better, so funny and such a good accompaniment to the show, but might give it a go if Craig Parkinson is now on it. Really enjoying this series so far, episode 1 was a nice setup and 2 picked up the pace well. I do wonder where the story will go with Steve's back, and there's potentially something with addiction in there.
April 2, 20214 yr I had to watch episode 1 twice as it was kinda hard going, not as thrilling as previous series openers, but episode 2 has definitely picked up my interest!
