It's so surreal hearing Taylor's versions of these songs. The refreshed production, Taylor's more mature vocal, it's incredible. The album sounds just as phenomenal as it always has, Taylor's really done it justice! The new lyric in Better Than Revenge will take some getting used to, was never bothered with the old lyric but can appreciate why Taylor wanted to change it. Enchanted and Better Than Revenge remain THOSE songs, it's whiplash having them side-by-side in the best possible way, one extreme emotion to the other. I adore them both so I'm happy to see them slaying Apple Music so far!

 

It's still all about the 14 track standard for me. Ours and Superman definitely have deluxe written all over them, and I think the tracklist is a bit too long for me to truly appreciate the Vault songs on first play, I'll have to hear them in their own right. On first play though, When Emma Falls in Love and I Can See You were my favourites (and Castles Crumbling is the better of the two collabs).

Did she release any videos for fearless, I know Red had ATW and IBYTAM

 

She didn't. I was expecting a video for enchanted but ai guess she's pretty busy atm

rumours swirling that theres gonna be a video for i can see you!! its also apparently being pushed as a single!
I can't decide what I want to be the single for this TV, Electric Touch is fantastic standard radio-friendly pop (and Patrick's voice doesn't harshen the song!) but I Can See You is just... WOW. That is a breath of fresh air for Taylor.

I wonder if she’ll premiere a video at her concert tonight? The Karma video premiered at the tour with no prior announcement right?

 

Cos we know she filmed something with Taylor Lautner and Joey King which is obviously for this era!

Omg you're right - this song is so much better on my 3rd / 4th listen. It's absolutely stunning. Love her voice and the variations in it.

Edit: I am really, really intrigued to see what ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ numbers will be! That album got screwed initially due to the Spotify vs Taylor stuff but was eventually added part way through the campaign, to big numbers… going to be interesting!
