I'm surprised Speak Now opened with higher streaming numbers than Red because I thought red was more popular.

Amazing to see such a fantastic album receiving such high opening numbers :)

Those numbers when put side by side is insane!

Edit: I am really, really intrigued to see what ‘1989 (Taylor’s Version)’ numbers will be! That album got screwed initially due to the Spotify vs Taylor stuff but was eventually added part way through the campaign, to big numbers… going to be interesting!

Those numbers really show how much Taylor's grown globally over the past year, for Fearless and Red the US made up more than half her numbers!

I've only had time for one listenthrough so far but Long Live is really standing out to me! It was never a top tier fave from the original album for me but it's really hitting rn. Everything beyond the standard tracklist feels kinda inessential (I really don't get I Can See You, hoping that clicks eventually) but I like the Hayley collab. Overall vault-wise I'd say it's Red (easily) > SN > Fearless.

Not to downplay the success bit think red had much bigger competition where loyalties would of been divided , ABBA was in week 2, Ed = was in week 3 and Little mix between us debuted that week as well , I know I was flip flopping between Taylor and LM

The success of Speak now TV is due to the Eras tour, her profile is higher than ever, if Speak now TV had been the first of the TVs it would have opened with 20K in the Uk and no one would have cared

I find your omniscience truly captivating. I wish I had such power.

I really like 'Electric Touch' but I wish it was someone else and not Fall Out Boy... I really don't think Patrick sounds right on it at all. :(

Number 1 with 48k so far! Outselling the rest of the top 10 combined!

Kinda feel for FTV at this point , more effort definitely been put into promoting This and Red

With all the drama of getting tickets, I forgot this was even happening today! Lol and very pleased to read it.

RIP FTV

This looks like it's going to match/out perform 'Red (TV)' opening numbers despite no signed variants and no Q4 inflated sales!
