The deluxe CDs are back up for pre-order!

I didn't order them as I had got the HMV ones (with the poster) already and another £60 felt obscene! If she puts them out again though I'm not sure I'll be able to resist the temptation

Wonder if Style will get a moment next , seems that the vault tracks unless Ed pushed as singles don't do as well album release weeks

Credits are supposedly out (fake ones leaked earlier, these ones seem legit) and we’re getting the song she did with the legend Diane Warren :cheeseblock: aside from that, Jack is all over the other tracks, and the guy who produced ‘Dancing On My Own’ on $l*t as well as Jack

Weird that there aren't any Max Martin/Shellback songs in the vault considering they made a large chunk of the original album together and Jack only had a couple songs. I guess Jack's songs were all left in the vault (or it was easier to pick them for release now as they would be making them together)

I’m really curious to know what the single will be. It’s been announced that a song will be pushed as a radio single. I’m curious if it’ll be one of the og tracks or a vault track and if so which one. I think it could be $l*t because that will already get lots of curiosity streams from name alone so could help it do well but we’ll see on Friday!

Is It Over Now seems to be the early favourite (I’m not sure if they’ve properly leaked or it’s just snippets/lyrics etc or people who got CDs shipped early, but the reaction to IION is reminding me of the same reactions to I Can See You being the best vault track a couple days before SNTV dropped)

 

Supposedly the vault tracks sound like they’d fit better on Midnights than 1989

 

I have been absolutely obsessed with Out Of The Woods the last week or so, so I think that’s the one I’m most excited for! (Non-vault wise)

My 1989 TV cd hasn't even been dispatched yet...

I haven't listened to this album for ages in preparation for tomorrow. Looking forward to playing this to death. Looking forward to getting my CDs too !

Are we expecting that this’ll be the last week the original 1989 charts and it’ll drop out next week? Replaced by 1989 Taylor’s Version.

I ordered all 4 vinyls separately and not got a single email :lol: It was the same with Midnights, I don't know why I bother ordering from her store because I never get them Day 1

Style and New Romantics

are the two that are botched. Gutted about the latter and low-key didn’t see that one coming. Hope it’ll be something like Sparks Fly for me where people were saying it was botched but it sounded the same to me.

 

A couple other OG tracks have okay-ish reactions but everything else seems to be as good! I’m glad going by the reactions that

the first two singles weren’t botched! I was v. nervous about Shake It Off

I caved and listened to WTNY :kink: As soon as that opening synth started I could hear a clear difference but still sounded good!

$l*t is pretty nice but yeah I was definitely expecting more/and a very different sounding song to what we got after we first found out the song title!
