Say Don’t Go the only vault track I’ve heard and I like it. Sounds like it could’ve easily fit on 1989 originally.
I’ll go through my Spotify playlists over the weekend and update them with the new .t.v versions of these songs.
Still weird that this is so short compared to the rest of the taylors versions , Red Tv almost twice as long
IWYW, HYGTG and SIO all sound identical. This new version of Style has ruined it so I’ll be sticking to the original for this one
On first listen agree with the person ghat said the vault tracks sound like midnights tracks, could be because of the producers on them, all sound great in their own right but so different to the rest of the album

Having heard it, everybody is surely way overreacting at Style no?

I think I may actually slightly prefer the new one tbh but it’s basically not that different!!!

I thought Shake It Off was really well-done tbh, not a big fan of New Romantics by any means. The new drums were rubbing me the wrong way...

For all this time, I thought the lyric in 'Blank Space' was "we all get reckless", not "we're young and reckless"

Well bugger me 😳

I'm sure you're not the only one who's figuring out new lyrics thanks to the TVs  i just literally know every single word and enjoyed singing along to a 'new album'

MY CD IS HERE!!! It's so pretty! But unfortunately, it has a couple of scratches on it. Not my fault. It already had the scratches on it when I opened it.

The 'Style' criticisms are so unjustified

I am OBSESSED with this re-recording. Not gonna lie! Noticeable differences scattered throughout, but it's the kind of differences I expected (in the sense that I am MORE than happy enough to replace the OG's in my playlists with these versions - unlike begrudgingly so for IKYWT and WANEGBT)

I was however, not expecting 'Shake It Off' to be as well re-recorded as it is! Her vocals now suit the song so much better. I get why people may prefer her obnoxious-like vocals for the original (as it DOES suit the message of the song), but for me it's the one thing I didn't like about the song. Now, it just sounds like a well crafted pop anthem.

'Out Of The Woods' re-recording is INCREDIBLE. SO SO SO happy that lived up to my (ridiculously high) expectations as it is my favourite Taylor song and top 10 favourite songs in existence.

But yeah, I am really, REALLY happy with this re-recording. I am about to hit the vault tracks shortly, so will give my opinion on those when I've listened!

EDIT: Also, a lot of the images on the inside would make better covers for the album than the ones we got :cheeseblock:

08.0 Slut! > Ohhhh this IS very different to what I was expecting. I kind of like that it was a curve ball though tbh lmao! It's really nice though. Think it could be an ear worm kinda grower! <

10.0 Say Don't Go > This is great! It's kind of giving 'Out Of The Woods' meets 'Clean' teas... Excellent! <

08.5 Now That We Don't Talk > BOP! It's the kind of atmospheric pop anthem she does incredibly well! It's SO short though, what the hell....!! <

09.0 Suburban Legends > I actually think NTWDT feels more like 'Labyrinth' & 'The Archer' than this one? This is definitely 'Mastermind' coded though and that's NOT A BAD THING! <

08.5 Is It Over Now? > This is amazing! The Jack production makes it feel a bit more 'Midnights' than '1989' but it's a top half of 'Midnights' track and I always said 'Midnights' is like '1989' little cousin! APPROVE! <

I actually ADORE the vault tracks. But on first listen "Slut!" is definitely the weakest of the 5! This re-recording has not let me down, vault tracks and all! Well done, blondie!!!

I need to give the whole album a proper listen, but with Britney’s and Leigh-Anne’s books to get through first it may be a while.
