Yeah it's been out like 3 weeks and is already almost silver

From Samuel Douek who directed the video.

The concept for Heartbreak Anthem was inspired by Angela Carter's infamous 1984 novel Nights at the Circus, a magical realism feminist tale about freedom.

@jadethirlwall, @leighannepinnock, @perrieedwards are the Winged Fatales, an all singing, all dancing trio who perform night after night to adoring crowds, whilst backstage they feel trapped and alone.

As we move through the song they find happiness in their own skin alongside digital images of David Guetta and the Galantis Seafox - a symbol of liberation.

The video touches upon the pressures of fame and heartbreak, evoking a message of self-acceptance

against the backdrop of a sci-fi burlesque world.

Thank you so much to the inspiring artists for allowing me to stretch my creative wings with this project, it was a dream to work on.

So that explains 'Jade' giving us Marilyn where she turns away from the flash at the window.

its now under the ‘59p songs’ section on itunes at #2 which will help it!
I wonder where this will debut! What are everyones thoughts?

Without knowing Spotify’s debut I’m saying 15/16?

Only because a large number of iTunes sales would have been the Thursday.

Do we think If they would have held off until the Friday I think it might have managed top 10?

I can see this bubbling around a bit like 'Confetti' before getting bigger (Top 10) in the Summer.

Yeah I think so but the Thursday release was great for a wider WW appeal.

First #1 in France and seems to be getting some airplay outside the Uk.

Ahh okay that makes sense.

Awesome, I'd love for it to be a Global hit. It's been too long since their last.

I think it’ll debut 13-15 this week but had they not released until Friday I would have said 10-11. I think it’ll peak around the 7/8 mark in a few weeks time. Can see this being another platinum hit for them.
I would laugh if THIS out of all the Little Mix songs did something in the US. However David Guetta is radio poison in the US, so shouldn’t be an issue.

Why would it be an issue if the song did take off? You're making it sounds like you would be mad if this took off

I agree it would likely chart slightly higher if it was released on Friday but I feel like it really got its 'moment' on Thursday and it didn't get overshadowed!

Love the song and can't wait to see how it does! It deserves to do well! Hoping Confetti continues to rise too :cheer:

Just my opinion. I would be embarrassed if this generic 2011 mess became a hit for them, when they have so many amazing songs which are a better representation of who Little Mix are in 2021.

Tbh I would love any sort of hit at this point. I think they deserve that ONE smash in America after the work they've put into breaking that market over the years. I doubt the song will do much (I'd be surprised if it even broke the Hot 100) but it's their biggest chance since Woman Like Me and probably their last ever chance of getting a hit so I'm rooting for it.

Literally this!

They really do deserve success in the US - their talent is unbelievable. It is insane they haven't made it in the US.

The crazy thing is that most of the more popular reactors on YT are American and have ALL said they would smash over there and are really gutted they haven't ever been given a proper push/chance :(
Tell me about it </3 it felt so exciting when the ‘DNA’ album went top 5 over there and ‘Wings’ popped up on Glee  but sadly the U.S. dream seemed to slip away years ago. This doesn’t particularly represent their overall sound well, as a feature, but as a fan of it I’d soooo be here for that. Really intrigued to see how it’ll do here too.
