Ed has co-written Japanese band One Ok Rock's new single 'Regenades', sounding really good on first listen! It's their first release on Fueled By Ramen (Panic at the Disco, Twenty One Pilots etc)

Yep, and seems from it that the new album will be '-' or '=' (leaning towards '-' as the equals looks like it's balancing the two sides)

will it be called Minus or Substract? both sound bad though...

Just saw this on my feed. Odd to see an singer sponsor a club!

Intriguing form of advertising though, less important for home games where it felt like everyone in Ipswich (except me) seemed to have went to the divide shows anyway. 🤣

I can only think of one other musician sponsoring a football team which was for one month - Notts County had a 10 different ones throughout the season - but may have been others, interested to know how often it'll have happened

I prefer Subtract to Minus, I wonder when this will come out.

I either like or hate Ed’s output so I’m interested to see what he comes back with.

I reckon it comes out on the 28th May. Video has been filmed, so we can assume the video drops at roughly the same time. Can't be too far away now, I'm expecting an announcement is not too far away.

The band Wet Wet Wet sponsored Scottish football team Clydebank FC for a brief time in the 90s.

I don't "hate" Ed as much as others, but the overexposure and overplay does make it hard for me to get fully on board with him. '+' was fine, I guess. I like about 3 songs, but don't particularly dislike or hate anything else. I liked 'x' a lot and it's his best album, imo. '÷' was nice for one listen then got overplayed, so I only take a couple of tracks from that. I never want to hear 'No 6 Collaborations Project' ever again as on release weekend our manager insisted it was the only album we listen to.

So I'm intrigued, although not expecting too much of a change but we'll see.

I’m excited for this as I loved divide and played the hell out of it BUT Afterglow wasn’t really anything special so I’m hoping there’s much better songs to come.

Curious to see what his next album will be called
