March 1, 20214 yr Author I suspected this would be lowest from the standard edition but didn't think it would be last overall! It's a decent song in itself but doesn't match the quality of the rest of the main album.

March 1, 20214 yr I agree, if it was on Kiss Me Once i would probably rate it very high but because of the album its on it probably sound weaker than it is.

March 2, 20214 yr Author I was expecting to hate 'Monday Blues' when I first listened to the album after hearing all the negative reviews for it, but I immediately enjoyed it and didn't understand why it was attracting so much hate! I can see why it might get a little grating vocally but certainly not enough to consider it a stain on the album like the fans who had heard it early were saying. I think it's got a really infectious energy about it.
March 2, 20214 yr I can't even sit through that song. Shrill, annoying, cheesy in a bad way. What a dampener so early on in the album.

March 2, 20214 yr 'Monday Blues' could almost be a 'Light Years' track. It's got a wiff of 'Loveboat' and 'Koocachoo' about it. Not necessarily a bad thing. But I'd say 'Disco' is generally a bit cooler than this song. Edited March 2, 20214 yr by McAndrew

March 2, 20214 yr I'm a bit surprised by the results so far! I think at the very least they deserve to be higher than two of the deluxe tracks. When I rated, I hadn't actually listened to DISCO in full for a few weeks... but I listened the day after :lol: (at the same time as Joseph *.* )... and Unstoppable clicked more for me than it had done previously. I'd still consider it to be bottom 2 from the standard track list, but that's no bad thing when the album is as strong as it is. Unstoppable actually has a very nice groove to it and and I love her "ooh yeah/ooh darling" ad-libs. Ironically Unstoppable comes across to me as more in keeping with a retro Disco sound, more so than other tracks which feel like modern interpretations.
