Another quick note - I won't be around tomorrow or Monday morning so if you really need it you've probably got until around 5:30pm on Monday to get your answers in!

 

(and for a bit of encouragement - after 5 sets of answers all bar 3 of the clues now have a correct answer against them :o)

I am confident on 3 of my answers and can make reasonable guesses for a couple more. There are then two more that I have an idea in mind for but there only so many straws I can clutch at so I'm going to have to bite the bullet and accept that I'm just not going to do that well with this one.

 

It's been interesting though and I can't wait to know the answers.

I've got a lot more of these than I thought I would, and I've just submitted my answers! There's a couple that I'm just not gonna get and another handful that I've made guesses against but in general I think I've done OK in this :)

Before I stress myself out trying to tot up all the results this evening AND present them I'll say now that the results are probably going to be tomorrow! I'll make sure to post a few intersting insights on here tonight though if I get the time.

A few insights to tease for the restults! (nothing score-wise as I'll inevitably end up changing something and if someone wants to make a realllly late attempt they can)

 

- 19 of the 20 clues got a correct answer, with 14 getting at least 5 correct guesses.

- The most-guessed incorrect answer recieved 11 guesses.

- There were most certainly a range of weird and wonderful answers in here! (not really an insight but I don't have that much to share whoops :P)

I saw some of it on TV here last night but got bored of all the adverts so read the summary on BBC as it went!

 

Glad to see there was one answer with no correct ones.

#7 has to do with freedom/independence I guess? cos there was Catalonia as a clue

I completely forgot to answer the bonus question, but would have gone for no.13.

Oh crap, I forgot there was a bonus question too! I'd have gone for no. 7 if I'm not too late :unsure:

 

EDIT: I'll stick with #7 despite reading the above comments, although I now think it'll probably be #6!

I can try and sneak in some very late answers if you're not planning to start results imminently... :ph34r: (although this is the kind of quiz that really requires devoting a bit of time to so a little annoyed at myself for forgetting about it)
