Evans first gained fame in 2020, when he posted videos of himself singing sea shanties on social media service TikTok, triggering a surge of interest in sea shanties. - Wikipedia 220 KID 220 KID is a producer/writer/DJ and artist from the UK. The 220 KID name was born after running 220 miles in bright pink pants for charity, after his beloved Godfather passed away. And after running that 220 miles he knew anything was possible. He was soon scouted as a model and has worked for the likes of Vogue, GQ, Nike, Reebok and many more, whilst continuing to develop and perfect himself as an established writer/producer. Over the past two years 220 KID has been working with Grammy nominated producer Grades, One Bit, Camden Cox, Billen Ted, Danny Shah, Jackson, and the infamous Scott Storch (Pink, Christina Aquilera, Beyonce, Snoop Dogg, Dre, Sean Paul) to name a few. His broad musical ability has allowed him to write and produce with a wide range of artists also, such as Clean Bandit, Alpines, Frenship, Walking On Cars, Sheppard, and Camelphat, He has most recently been working with Daniel Skye, Jess Boykins III, Amanda CY, Gracey, Maverick Sabre, Bryn Christopher and Ivy Adara. Unquestionably 220 KID has a wide range of production skills, from epic string work to dirty house base lines. Alongside his fresh style of lyrical writing, he has the ability to make any pop song that little bit more ‘cool’. He's certainly one to watch. - Spotify Billen Ted Billen Ted are a production / writing duo working out of Ealing Studios, London. The duo, previously from Death Metal bands, have spent the last few years transitioning to dance and pop music and have produced / written records for the likes of 220 Kid (Don't Need Love), Hugel (WTF), MNEK, Sleepwalkrs and Melanie C amongst others. They have just released their first record Satisfied, paying homage to the late Prince by doing a feel good version of 'I Feel For You' - Spotify Top 100 Chart History Nathan Evans 2021 02 Wellerman (Nathan Evans, 220 KID & Billen Ted) -NAS- 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 220 KID 2020 09 Don't Need Love (220 KID & GRACEY) -NAS- 2020 72 Too Many Nights (220 KID & JC Stewart) -NAS- 2021 02 Wellerman (Nathan Evans, 220 KID & Billen Ted) 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 2 x Top 10 | 2 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 3 x Top 100 Billen Ted 2021 02 Wellerman (Nathan Evans, 220 KID & Billen Ted) 0 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 1 x Top 40 | 1 x Top 100 Social Media Nathan Evans 220 KID Billen Ted http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

My name is Olivia!! I'm a songwriter, an actress, and a huge Swiftie. Writing music is my favorite thing in the whole world. I've been doing it ever since I can remember. My parents have old VHS videos of me making up ridiculous songs when I was too young to even know how to write words. I've always loved telling stories and songwriting is the perfect medium to tell them in a really vulnerable, personal way. You might have heard my song “All I Want” that I wrote for Highschool Musical the Musical the Series, which is a show I also get to act in. I wrote that song in my living room during finals week of sophomore year. I was truly just so grateful the producers of the show let me have any part in making the music, I didn't think about anyone hearing it let alone liking it. The outpouring of support the song got was insane. I know people write songs to make their listeners feel less alone but reading everyone's stories and reactions to the song actually made ME feel so seen. It was an experience I wouldn't trade for the world. The song has opened up so many doors for me and as I'm writing this, I am putting the finishing touches on my first EP. Figuring out what I want my own music to sound like has been hella challenging but so much fun. I still write songs in my bedroom almost every day too. I learn more about myself and songwriting every day, and I think that's so fun. I feel really lucky. I'm so stoked for the future and I feel so grateful that I get to make music. - Spotify Top 100 Chart History 2020 32 All I Want -OST- 2021 01 drivers license -1- 1 x #1 | 1 x Top 5 | 1 x Top 10 | 1 x Top 20 | 2 x Top 40 | 2 x Top 100 Social Media Olivia Rodrigo http://i.imgur.com/1SERq1f.png

March 5, 20215 yr I loved 'Wellerman' initially, but I think the novelty of it has worn off a bit now.
March 5, 20215 yr Next week's contender? Drake What's Next 1st single from Scary Hours 2 Released: 5th March 2021 Label: OVO Video 7EUVJaKJtBY Biography A couple of years after he broke into the mainstream with 2009’s So Far Gone, Drake was browsing art in Los Angeles when a piece caught his eye: a big neon sign that read, “LESS DRAKE, MORE TUPAC.” For a minute, he felt angry, embarrassed—he wanted to walk up and rip the sign off the wall. Instead, he bought it. After all, he figured, you get someone hanging your name next to Tupac’s, even if it’s only to take a shot at it? You must be doing something right. Born Aubrey Drake Graham in Toronto in 1986, Drake became—like Tupac—something of a generational voice, a prism for his pop-cultural moment. Was he an R&B singer who rapped or a rapper who sang? Was he really that sad, or just doing a bit? And if it wasn’t a bit, how could this guy—talented, intuitive, hardworking—really be so down? From minute one, there was something a little different about him: He could be confessional, vulnerable, but also incredibly coarse; he could make an earnest commitment one minute (“Take Care”) and be drunk-dialing the next (“Marvins Room”); he could convince you he was an underdog from his perch on top of the world (“Started from the Bottom”). Critics—and he’s had plenty—like to point out that he started as an actor: He played Jimmy Brooks in the Canadian teen show Degrassi: The Next Generation. But most of all, he felt like a person—someone who isn’t canceled by his paradoxes, but defined by them. Though the feelings remain (always feelings, big feelings), the sound—for the most part, courtesy of longtime affiliate Noah “40” Shebib—is always changing: a little dancehall here (“One Dance”), a little house there (“Passionfruit”), some old New Orleans bounce (“Nice for What”), a bit of Wu-style boom-bap (“Started from the Bottom”), some smooth, to-the-minute trap-soul (“Hotline Bling”). Like Kanye, Drake is as much a curator as he is a creator, an artist capable of arranging collaborators from a universe of styles and making them all fit into his personal vision—an approach that has made him one of the most definitive rappers and pop figures of his era. “I obviously spend a lot of time in my own world,” he told Beats 1 host Zane Lowe in 2016. “But when I do take a look at the broader scope of things, it’s often [in the studio]… Even though I don’t directly, literally address things in my music, I’ve always tried to make music that transcends gender, nationality—to try and unify people. Because that’s really what it’s about.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2009 42 Forever (feat. March 5, 20215 yr Next week's contender? Justin Bieber Hold On 4th single from Justice Released: 5th March 2021 Label: Def Jam Recordings Video LWeiydKl0mU Biography There’s a moment in a 2020 interview with Apple Music’s Zane Lowe where Justin Bieber begins—quietly, hesitantly—to cry. “It was hard for me being that young and being in the industry, and not knowing where to turn, and everyone telling me they love me, and just turning their back on you in a second,” Bieber says, each clause kicking up memories like dust. The point isn’t to weep with or for him—he had more dreams come true in his first 25 years than most people manage in a lifetime. But he’s also one of the few pop stars of his generation to have truly grown up in public, weathering the cable newsification of celebrity culture in the internet era while still trying to develop as both an artist and a person. Even early on, you could tell he had his eye on the future, balancing a doe-eyed wholesomeness with earnest attempts at hip-hop and R&B, material that suited him as a kid with material that reflected his growth into adolescence and adulthood. Some teen-pop singers end up trapped in amber; Justin Bieber has, knocks and all, kept swimming. Born in London, Ontario, in 1994, Bieber was famously discovered when his future manager, Scooter Braun, stumbled on some performance videos that Bieber’s mom had uploaded to YouTube to share with family and friends. Braun, who understood not only Bieber’s appeal but the potential of the internet, encouraged him to keep making videos and keep the equipment cheap—an approach that not only helped Bieber’s growing fanbase to understand that he was still just a kid like them, but drafted a new blueprint for how artists could reach audiences in the digital era. With the exception of a voice change around 2011, 2009’s My World, 2010's My World 2.0 and 2012's Believe are more or less of a piece: the sound of a boy trying to stick the landing into puberty. Released in 2015, Purpose showed Bieber developing a more thoughtful connection to his material, including collaborations with vanguard pop producers like Diplo, Skrillex and benny blanco. After a five-year break during which Bieber underwent significant personal changes—including a detox from touring life, a diagnosis of Lyme disease and a epiphanic marriage to Hailey Baldwin—he came back with 2020’s Changes. “People have been putting me on a pedestal,” Bieber told Apple Music. ""I didn’t ask for that. Obviously I love making music, but there are a lot of people that love making music and they’re not in the position that I’m in. I’m just trying to steward that wisely, steward my relationship wisely. I want people to take a look at my story—hopefully, my words can make a difference.” - Apple Music Top 100 Chart History 2010 11 One Time -1- 2010 71 Love Me -PS- 2010 62 One Less Lonely Girl -2- 2010 76 Favorite Girl -PS- 2010 03 Baby (feat. March 5, 20215 yr not sure what's worst... a static top 10 for the last 3 weeks or the prospect of Drake occupying the entire top 3 next week... this is how Apple Music looks at the moment: 1 NEW Drake - What’s Next 2 NEW Drake - Wants and Needs (feat. Lil Baby) 3 NEW Drake - Lemon Pepper Freestyle (feat. Rick Ross) and people wanted Olivia off #1 so badly...you got your wish Buzzjack :teresa: anywho thank you Ms Rodrigo for saving us again this week!!
March 5, 20215 yr I can't see how 'Calling My Phone' is enjoyable. When I heard that the featured vocalist on the worst single of 2020 (Moodswings) was challenging for no.1 I was dreading it. But this is annoyingly catchy especially that chipmunk vocal. My least favourite in the top 10 are Goosebumps' and 'Friday'. Both ewww
March 5, 20215 yr 8 weeks is one huge number one reign! The same number of weeks as Blinding Lights had!
March 5, 20215 yr This could become only the second true 8-week #1 since the 1960s(!) after Shakespeare's Sister - Stay. Three songs have been 8-week #1s since then, but they were all denied extra weeks by ACR.
March 5, 20215 yr Boooo! Can people stop listening to drivers license, please? It's just dull and boring. No  So happy Olivia has been the chart saviour and saved us from so many awful #1's  Still absolutely love it too, one of the very few songs this year that has wowed me on first listen and I'm still not bored of it.
