I'm very excited... I was a bit apprehensive about them changing their sound as the EP's are perfect but 'Perfect Places' is just stunning so I'm all aboard.

Symptom Of Your Touch is definitely my favourite since Star Maps was released and that remains my favourite song of there's ever, by a wide margin. I was kinda disappointed by the video but I guess they're working with covid restraints and a lower budget perhaps. I am super excited for the album, but I can't help but think that the album should be called

'A Touch Of The Best Gets You Up On Your Feet'.

This album is heavenly  I'd highly recommend to anyone - such a good pop record. It's pretty much synth-pop meets 60s/70s pop-rock guitar influences.

My favourites of those I didn't already know are 'Break Yourself', 'Paradise', 'Stomach', 'Personal Cathedrals' + 'Hold Out' <3 but really there's not a single dud

'Pretty Places' is hitting harder than ever right now also, with fantasies of being reunited with more people I care about + going on holiday becoming ever more frequent

This vinyl pressing looks gorgeous - someone please let me know if there's a way to get it in the U.K. without crazy shipping

This is fab! Got the same kind of dreamy energy that I haven't heard done quite as well since Golden Hour by Kacey Musgrave
'pretty places' and 'slow dancing' are hitting me the hardest as the pre-release tracks but i think it;s because i was so obsessed with 'symptom' and 'don't need nothing'.

This is fantastic.

It's bizarre to watch them continuously go unnoticed though, especially by critics who could easily propel them into the group of 'cool 'indie' popstars that make great pop music but fail to chart anywhere. Carly, Charli, etc.

I am absolutely adoring the album. Possibly just as good if not better than their last record but both of those Albums are excellent
Personally I've found their recent music to be really bland Spotipop apart from 'Joan of Arc on the Dancefloor'

GET OUT!

but actually I can appreciate your opinion :P

Joan Of Arc On The Dancefloor is a masterpiece imo.

Absolutely Brilliant.

The run from Paradise to Don't Need Nothing is amazing.

I take back my earlier comment :kink:

This sounded great as a whole! Some of the songs which fell a bit flat on their own, sound a lot better in the album context. Aly & AJ's vocals are solid and I love the use of guitar and drums throughout. The album has a bit of sunset drive mood to it and definitely warrants repeated plays~

Stand outs for me were Pretty Places, Symptom of Your Touch (v Carly Rae!), Stomach and Hold Out

Towards the end of my listen through and I'm really enjoying this. Such a great body of work. Very impressed!
