The more you listen to Faded Love the less you notice the sample. That’s what I reckon anyway

I think I can count the number of entries this month that I have already heard (and remember) on less than 2 hands which is not bad considering this is the biggest contest we've had in a long time! I firstly have to point out Doctor Blind unintentionally shading himself the other day when he dared to diss my entries when he is the person who stole the song I was sort-of planning to enter this month :basil: happy to see 'SHADOW' showing up despite not actually sending it myself! Also a bit of early hype for New Lexico ~

I spotted it in your listening history on last.fm! But I still went for Don’t Falter as a much loved classic of mine. :heart:

 

Ah yeah, I do love it lots - it flopped at #79 when it was released in September 2001 which was a huge injustice IMO.

 

But “Don’t Falter” is also a bit of a classic. Lauren Laverne never ages !

Two former Ultraviolenceland artists here :cheer: (Kinnie & Leony <3). I'm v. familiar with that Kinnie song (so good <3) and I've loved nearly all of Leony's material so far but the release of Faded Love completely passed me by! Anyway decided to listen to it now, and about 10 listens later I am supporting a Silas win this month x

 

There's also quite a few I recognise here (Farc's entry has been on my potentials list for ages!)

 

I hope Lauren can do well this month <3 The song is so gorgeous and it's really hit me recently. I feel it's either gonna be bottom 3 or a surprise overperformer :lol:
