Paul Simon - You Can Call Me Al. This was a Heardle recently and it really reminds me of KC & The Sunshine Band's Give It Up.

Also Krewella - Live For The Night has a similar instrumental melody.

I can copy my post from the pre-2000s forum as it fits n better here:

As we have the appearance of One Night In Heaven, it is time for me to make my usual post that the intro to that track always reminded me of Stoppit and Tidyup

I'm sure I said this but must've been in a similar thread

but 'The Box' and 'Love Sex Magic' both start with the exact same strings sample from the Roland SRX Orchestra plugin.

On a recent lounge quiz, I incorrectly guessed the drum intro of No Doubt's Hella Good as Daft Punk's Face To Face, so that could be a possible similarity

I had never thought about this before but you've got a point, would love to imagine Bob's single was inspired by that

Just heard Pink's Blow Me One Last Kiss on the radio today and thought it was Two Door Cinema Club from the intro!

Just listening to No Wyld (the ones behind 'Let Me Know' from BJSC 2016) with 'Grown Up' and the music beat goes almost identical to 'A Different Corner' by George Michael.

I don't know if it sounds completely the same but Taylor's 'Should've Said No' sounded to me a little like 'Let Her Go' by Passenger, definitely sounds like a few notes at the beginning are similar anyway

Shania Twain - Waking Up Dreaming / YUNGBLUD - Tissues

Both were in my playlist recently and I could never work out which song it was until the vocals kicked in

I'm currently out with a mate in the pub and came across Thin Lizzy 'Dancing In The Moonlight (It's Caught Me In The Spotlight)' which if I didn't hear the guitar then the production intro would've sounded a lot like 'She Said' by Plan B!
Not many people realise this, but Another Bloomin Christmas' intro is very similar to the intro of Spice Girls' Wannabe!!

A couple of examples here, I started listening to the first one just now and my mind went to the second.

And with this one, the drum pattern is the same in the intro (imagine the strings aren't there in the first)
