March 30, 20215 yr ATB could just about make the top 10, its fairly close, ahead of Tom and Ella. Unless Central C revs up a bit.
March 30, 20215 yr I need Montero at #1. What a song and video! That chorus is such an earworm especially. Loving the film reference too. Just an all round great package.
March 30, 20215 yr Montero was the best selling single of the day, I'd say it's incredibly likely it'll be #2 this week and #1 next week. I predict the top 10 to be 1 Wellerman 2 Montero 3 Latest Trends 4 Peaches 5 Friday 6 The Business 7 Bed 8 Don't Play 9 Little Bit of Love 10 Calling My Phone #10 could feasibly go to ATB but I'd say Lil Tjay is more likely because of the end of week upweighted Spotify streams.
March 30, 20215 yr Montero also had a new version out, which helps, not sure if the effect lasts for whole next week with Wellerman being so strong on Amazon.
March 30, 20215 yr Montero in at #2 and up to #1 next week would be a perfect result. Holiday was a favourite of mine in December and I was disappointed to see it flop out as a mid table hit. Montero has quickly grown to become one of my current favourites and it’s great to see it performing so well.
March 30, 20215 yr Isn't Olivia going to release a brand new single on Friday?- she would be favourite for next week's no.1 if the song connects anything like as well as Drivers License.
March 30, 20215 yr Nice 1k+ climb in sales for Ben Howard - really impressed it’s doing this well after the ‘flop’ of his last album
March 30, 20215 yr it could very well just be overshadowed by DL still being big, there’s no guarantee it’ll be number one.
March 30, 20215 yr Taylor's properly flopping with her new single isn't she? Wasn't expecting her to miss the top 40. I know it's not as high profile a single as 'Love Story' but still.
March 30, 20215 yr Taylor's properly flopping with her new single isn't she? Wasn't expecting her to miss the top 40. I know it's not as high profile a single as 'Love Story' but still. It's not really a typical single release, particularly as it's an unreleased (reworked) track from her country days :kink: I thought it might debut a bit higher but this isn't really too surprising to me!
March 30, 20215 yr does anyone know how Montero is doing on Amazon? cos that seems to be the key right now with Peaches being #1 by miles ahead of Wellerman on Spotify, also #1 on Apple but not even top 3 in the Mids

It is not a 'new single', it's a rework of a decade old leak (not to mention it is a country song) lol ~ the only reason it's charting at all is her name power and having a big enough hardcore fanbase to stream literally anything she releases. (And in fact it's doing quite well for what it is even by that standard, it's going to chart higher than that song from the Cats soundtrack most likely for example) edit: actually the Cats song didn't even chart at all, I was thinking of 'Only The Young'
March 30, 20215 yr Yeah I realise it's not a 'new single' as such, I just thought that with her name power it would at least debut top 20. But yeah I guess you're right, 'Only The Young' only peaked at #57 so I'm probably overestimating its chart fortunes.
March 30, 20215 yr As much as i like Little Bit of Love id prefer lets go home together to be top 10.

Some of her biggest hits reissued will inevitably do better but with each release and especially with lesser know tracks like this the returns will inevitably diminish.
