April 2, 20215 yr Fans speculating if the Bieber single is about his wife... those fans should speculate of he was even in the building when the song was written :D :D :D yas 100%
April 2, 20215 yr First time hearing 'Montero' and it didnt stick so far but can expect to heaer it alot in the next 6 months its in the chart so will see if its gets any better!
April 2, 20215 yr I'm glad I managed to avoid seeing the spoiler but it sucks for those who saw it as it does ruin the experience tbh.
April 2, 20215 yr This took off so quickly! Very surprised that it made it all the way to the top as early as this, but I'm pretty confident it would have made it next week anyway. I still prefer Old Town Road but it's another solid number one from Lil Nas X!
April 2, 20215 yr Fantastic to have a queer artist with the most queer video since Relax at Number One, it really is a moment!
April 2, 20215 yr Thanks for hosting this today Joseph  not sure when I'll next be able to join in again but the hard work is always appreciated.
April 2, 20215 yr Aside: as it's a bank holiday I don't have any ACR info right now, not sure if I will or not within the next few days so don't expect an update this week just in case.
April 2, 20215 yr And to thick I was pissed that he wouldn’t even reach the Top 10! Well done Lil Nas X! Get that one hit wonder Wellerman rubbish off the top spot!
April 2, 20215 yr Thanks for hosting this today Joseph  not sure when I'll next be able to join in again but the hard work is always appreciated. you're always welcome! I thoroughly enjoyed today's chart and I hope everyone else did too. Shame it had to be derailed at the end particularly considering the prep work that goes into this thread (not just from me).
April 2, 20215 yr Unfortunately no sales as of yet due to public holiday apart from what Scott has stated 300 copies ahead of #2. In the meantime we sit and twiddle our thumbs and wait for someone to activate the articles at some point.
April 2, 20215 yr I would also like to thank Joseph, I’m fairly new here but I have seen how hard he works hosting the chart show and getting updates and info together, it’s all very much appreciated :)
April 2, 20215 yr Haven't seen a #1 emerge throughout the week quite like that before - it was #3 in yesterday's mids even! The right result though, it would have been very unfortunate to miss out due to estimated Thursday Spotify streams which should have put Montero comfortably ahead.
April 2, 20215 yr Lil Nas X number 1!! OMG. That is incredible and INCREDIBLY well-deserved. What an absolute corker of a song and video.
April 2, 20215 yr genuinely don't think I've ever seen a music video from a 'mainstream' artist as openly unashamedly queer male sexual & I live for it. Can this be a trend pls
April 2, 20215 yr Elated for Lil Nas X and I imagine it could stay there next week and for a while yet! A really important #1 too, so deserved.
April 2, 20215 yr How coincidental, I only heard/read up about this Lil Nas X furore today, at least it's not two months late like most hits  Song sounded pretty good, though I'm more pleased for what it represents and who it's pissing off. Keep devil lapdancing to the top *.
