Guessing the second DMX compilation was indeed there in error yesterday then if it's not mentioned at all in that article.

Unlikely this week unless it picks up on Apple and Spotify as the week goes on. Only at #52 in yesterday’s mids

Depends on what they mean by charting, it won't be top 40 but I think Monday #52 is typically safe to be comfortably top 100 by the end of the week apart from for songs that are there on physical sales alone.

The Official Charts Company Midweek Sales Flash is in and Taylor Swift is closing in on a No.1 finish for her reissued album Fearless (Taylor’s Version).

Fearless is Swift’s second album and originally came out in 2008, but the star’s updated recording is flying again this week. So far, it has sold 17,845 copies, with 8,205 from physical editions, 3,538 from downloads and 6,102 from streams. It therefore has a healthy lead over Justin Bieber’s Justice, which is in second place with 4,154 sales. Ariana Grande’s Positions (4,115 sales), Dua Lipa’s Future Nostalgia (3,817 sales) and DMX’s The Best Of (2,625 sales) complete the Top 5.

In the singles chart, Lil Nas X is in the lead with Montero (Call Me By Your Name), which has 37,524 sales. Justin Bieber’s Peaches (26,833 sales) is narrowly ahead of Polo G’s new entry Rapstar (26,692 sales), with Nathan Evans’ Wellerman (23,506 sales) and Joel Corry, Raye & David Guetta’s Bed (22,522 sales) also in the Top 5.

NO OTHER SALES INFO

Why does My Head & My Heart keep falling down as the week progresses?

That climb for D-Block Europe is  why? its a dreadful track...

Looks like DMX's second album has been combined or dropped out completely.

Rasputin at #31

I take it ‘way too long’ has dropped out? Really hope it can get back in, hopefully in place of ‘love story’ <_<

If that is the Nathan Dawe track... yes it has-

Why is Lana back at 31? Was there a new vinyl released?
does anyone know where Demi Lovato is in the albums? is she still top 20?

Snuts are #16

I think the OCC were just accidentally applying the streams of DMX's songs to both of the compilations before, they obviously have noticed and corrected the error.

Good to see BROCKHAMPTON not dropping (actually a place higher than on Monday but they're effectively a non-mover since that was just a 'rise' because of the DMX error being fixed), my early optimism for this to maybe be a first top 10 for them was pretty quickly sapped away by its underwhelming Spotify presence but I hope there's a chance they can at least hang onto the top 20 (I feel like they'll probably fall just short but their last two albums did actually climb over the midweeks so ~) - shame that they're clearly in decline commercially now but then again I discovered them before they ever charted at all so they're still at least better off than they were then. (The lack of a vinyl release for this album probably also isn't helping).

Taylor is really pulling in some pretty amazing sales for what this is. I wonder if she could actually end up getting 6 free additional UK #1 albums from this re-release series. (She almost certainly will in the US but that was never really in question, I was expecting the interest in the UK to be quite a lot lesser but this album seems to be selling in similar numbers to her last actual new album so...!)

So Taylor could be up there with Madonna/Bruce if all of them go to #1! (she'll have 7 after this week)

The Beatles - 15

Elvis Presley - 13

Robbie Williams - 13

Bruce Springsteen - 12

Madonna - 12

The Rolling Stones - 11

David Bowie - 11

U2 - 10

Michael Jackson - 10

Rod Stewart - 10

Eminem - 10

Queen - 10

ABBA - 9

Bob Dylan - 9

That's pretty impressive for Taylor Swift, I wouldn't have expected anywhere near as high a sales figure for a re-release (I know it's a new version) so good for her

and it's without vinyls and without cassettes, which will be released later

but that said, not sure if there will be the same interest when she re-releases her debut or Reputation

Edited by Bjork

I'd say there'll be interest in reputation? It was a pretty big era still. More so than Speak Now over here for sure.
